Mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum (FH) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melakukan Kuliah Kerja lapangan (KKL) di Abdur Rahman Law Corporation (ARLC) Singapore, Singapura (14/1).

Kunjungan di Law Firm Singapura bertujuan untuk memberikan ilmu kepada para mahasiswa tentang praktik hukum di Singapura. Hadir pula sebagai pembicara, salah satu lawyer bernama Zamiq Azmeer Bin Borhanudin.

Rombongan terdiri dari 23 mahasiswa FH UNNES dan 2 dosen pendamping, Bayangsari Wedhatami SH MH dan Ibu Ayup Suran Ningsih SH LLM MH mengunjungi Abdur Rahman Law Corporation (ARLC)  yang berlokasi di 114 Lavender Street, #10-01 CT Hub 2, Singapore.

ARLC adalah perwujudan dari pengalaman dan praktik yang dibangun oleh Direktur Pelaksana, Abdul Rahman Bin Mohd Hanipah pada 9 April 2014.

Area praktik yang telah dikembangkan berpusat pada kebutuhan masyarakat dan praktik tersebut sebagian besar didorong oleh klien yang telah mengenal, menunjuk dan bekerja bersama untuk jangka waktu yang lama.

ARLC menerima berbagai penghargaan, yang terbaru adalah Global Law Experts Award Winner 2018, Corporate International Global Award Winner 2017, The European Global Banking & Finance Award 2016.

Zamiq Azmeer Bin Borhanudin menyampaikan, Singapura telah memiliki sistem hukumnya tersendiri dan telah terbebas dari pengaruh Hukum Inggris.

Lebih lanjut beliau menambahkan, KKL di Law Firm Luar Negeri ini bisa dimanfaatkan oleh Gugus Kerjasama, PKL, KKL FH UNNES untuk menambah mitra PKL di Luar Negeri, sehingga kedepannya mahasiswa FH UNNES memiliki kesempatan untuk bisa PKL di Law Firm Singapura.
