Kuliah Umum, Dirut BTN: Digital Banking Mutlak Dikembangkan

Tuntutan zaman mengharuskan pelayanan perbankan terus berubah menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, pelayanan perbankan berbasis digital adalah sebuah keniscayaan.

Direktur Utama Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Maryono SE MM mengatakan hal itu saat memberi kuliah umum kepada sekitar 1.500 mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) Universitas Negeri Semarang, Selasa (31/10.

“Tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, digital banking diharuskan untuk menggaet nasabah baru, terutama kids zaman now, yaitu para millennial karena mereka menyukai serba instan dan simple,” kata katanya.

Pihaknya, lanjut Maryono, terus mengembangkan inovasi dalam berbagai bentuk. Salah satunya mengembangkan layanan untuk masyarakat global.

Sebagai penyedia layanan perbankan pihaknya akan terus berinovasi untuk mendekatkan Bank BTN dengan kebutuhan nasabah yang semakin kompleks namun membutuhkan layanan transaksi dan akses terhadap produk perbankan yang mudah, murah dan cepat.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum berharap BTN dan UNNES dapat bekerja sama lebih baik khususnya untuk mendorong mahasiswa menjadi pengusaha yang kompetitif.

Sementara itu, Dekan Fakultas Ekonomi Dr Wahyono menyampaikan,  kuliah umum dari top leader industri keuangan merupakan sarana mendorong mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan digital banking yang lebih optimal.
