Kuliah Perdana, Unnes Makin Bernyawa

Kelengangan kampus Sekaran sirna sudah. Perpustakaan, gazebo, dan koridor di setiap jurusan dipenuhi mahasiswa. Maklumlah, Senin (28/2) ini kuliah perdana semester genap berlangsung. Tak mengherankan jika suasana universitas konservasi ini jauh lebih ramai dibandingkan dengan minggu-minggu lalu pada masa liburan.

Suasana itu berbanding lurus dengan tatap muka dosen-mahasiswa di kelas. Mitos kemalasan pada hari pertama kuliah pun terpatahkan. Lihatlah saja, misalnya,  Fakultas MIPA. Kuliah komprehensif berlangsung tampak begitu bergairah. Tak kurang dari 40 mahasiswa, dengan khidmat mengikuti perkuliahan yang diampu Drs Suprojo  MS.

“Semua mahasiswa hadir. Kami kan disiplin. Apalagi dosen kami yang sudah sepuh gitu saja masih bersemangat. Lagian, kami pengin cepet lulus,” ungkap Fajar, mahasiswa semester VIII Jurusan Fisika, yang diamini rekannya seangkatan, Aziz.

FIK tak kalah bernyawa. Sejak pagi, laboratorium FIK sudah diramaikan oleh pembelajaran beberapa mata kuliah praktik. Di Jurusan Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga (PKLO), misalnya, kuliah Bulutangkis II berlangsung dengan antusiasme mahasiswa. Mahasiswa bahkan sudah siap berkostum ala atlet  bulutangkis. Seusai mencermati arahan dan kontrak kuliah dari dosen, mereka bersigegas mempraktikkan teknik dasar.

“Lakukan over head lob…!” seru Suratman MPd, pengampu mata kuliah.

Gilang Nuari (19) mengaku perkuliahan perdana kali ini berlangsung dengan penuh kedisiplinan. Dirinya dan teman-teman bahkan menyamakan kuliah perdana dengan disiplin keatletan yang diusung dunia olahraga.

“Ya, itu sudah jadi kewajibanlah. Mahasiswa ya harus kuliah. Hari pertama kuliah yang biasanya hanya dengar ceramah kontrak kuliah, jangan dijadikan alasan untuk tidur di kos-kosan,” ungkap gadis Pekalongan itu.
