Kukuhkan 704 Lulusan PPG, UNNES Dukung Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan di Indonesia

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menggelar yudisium dan upacara pengukuhan bagi lulusan Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) Prajabatan Gelombang II, Selasa (12/12/2023). Bertempat di Balairung Astina UTC Hotel Semarang, kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 704 lulusan dari 15 bidang program studi PPG.

Hadir memberikan sambutan, Ketua Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LPPP) UNNES, Prof. Dr. Rodiyah, S.Pd., S.H., M.Si., yang menyampaikan harapan besar kepada para lulusan.

“Kami berharap lulusan PPG UNNES bisa konsisten menerapkan prinsip belajar sepanjang hayat atau life-long education. Di era digitalisasi saat ini, banyak kesempatan dan peluang untuk terus berkembang. Jadilah adaptif dan giat berliterasi dengan kemajuan teknologi yang ada,” ungkap Prof. Rodiyah.

Guru besar Ilmu Perencanaan Perundang-Undangan itu menyebut UNNES terus berkomitmen untuk memberikan kontribusi positif dalam dunia pendidikan.

“Pengukuhan kali ini menandai langkah awal lulusan PPG UNNES sebagai agen perubahan dan peningkatan kualitas di dunia pendidikan Indonesia,” jelas Prof. Rodiyah.

Sementara itu, Koordinator Prodi PPG UNNES, Dr. Agus Yuwono, M.Si., M.Pd. melaporkan yudisium dan upacara pengukuhan kali ini diikuti oleh 704 lulusan.

“Ada 15 bidang program studi PPG dengan 704 lulusan yang terdiri dari 22 lulusan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, 27 lulusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, 25 lulusan Pendidikan Biologi, 35 Pendidikan Ekonomi, 51 Pendidikan Fisika, 25 Pendidikan Geografi, 25 Pendidikan IPA, 12 Pendidikan IPS, 178 Pendidikan Seni Budaya, 22 Pendidikan Kimia, 149 PGSD, 26 PKn, 60 PJKR, 21 Pendidikan Sejarah, dan 26 lulusan Pendidikan Sosiologi,” papar Dosen Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa itu.

Selain Ketua LPPP dan Koordinator Prodi PPG, turut hadir Sekretaris LPPP, Kepala Pusat Pengembangan PPL, Koordinator Bidang studi PPG, dan staf akademik LPPP.

Salah seorang perwakilan lulusan PPG, Agung Nugroho menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada UNNES.

“Terima kasih UNNES. Selama kurang lebih dua semester, kami belajar, kami mendapatkan ilmu dan pengalaman berharga untuk menjadi seorang guru profesional yang dibimbing oleh Bapak dan Ibu dosen yang baik dan juga profesional,” ungkap Agung saat memberikan kesan dan pesan.

Program PPG di UNNES dirancang sebagai respons terhadap perlunya peningkatan kualitas  pendidikan di Indonesia. Mahasiswa PPG dilatih untuk menjadi pendidik yang kompeten dan memiliki etos kerja tinggi.

Selama menempuh pendidikan, mereka menjalani pembelajaran intensif untuk mengasah pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap yang diperlukan dalam menghadapi tantangan di dunia pendidikan.

Melalui program PPG ini, UNNES semakin meneguhkan peran strategisnya dalam mencetak generasi pendidik yang unggul dan kompeten.
