Kuatkan Literasi Lingkungan, UNNES Gelar Lokakarya UGSR

Unit Pelayanan Teknis Pengembangan Konservasi (Bangvasi) Universitas Negeri Semarang melaksanakan Lokakarya UNNES Green School Ranking (UGSR) yang ke 2, Kamis (25/8) di Gedung LPPM UNNES.

Lokakarya ini merupakan pertemuan kedua sebagai rangkaian lokakarya yang telah dirancang. Lokalarya dihadiri oleh para juara UGSR tahun 2021, perwakilan sekolah dari berbagai daerah, serta civitas akademika UNNES. Pelatihan menghadirkan narasumber dari sekola juara di tahun 2021 yaitu dari SMP Negeri 1 Juwana, SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran, dan SMP Negeri 3 Pati.

Lokakarya bertujuan untuk menyosialisasikan kegiatan UGSR sekaligus berbagi praktik baik penerapan sekolah hijau. Perwakilan sekolah yang mengikuti lokakarya diberikan wawasan mengenai pemeringkatan UGSR secara umum serta parameter yang terdapat dalam UGSR seperti infrastruktur, energi, pengelolaan sampah, air, transportasi, dan pendidikan sehingga informasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan lingkungan di sekolah.

Kepala SMP Negeri 1 Juwana menyampaikan tentang topik pengelolaan air di sekolah, dari sumber air yang digunakan sampai pengolahannya. Ia menekankan pentingnya sekolah dalam menangani kurangnya sumber air bersih dengan mengolah air sungai menjadi air bersih. Sementara itu, Kepala SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran menyampaikan tentang indikator-indikator yang terdapat di UGSR secara umum. Ia mengungkapkan hal-hal yang perlu disiapkan sekolah di setiap indikator. Kemudian, Kepala SMP Negeri 3 Pati menjelaskan materi tentang infrastruktur yang terdapat di sekolahnya. Penataan sekolah yang dilakukan akan membuat sokolah nyaman dan dapat dilakukan pembelajaran yang nyaman pula. Sekolah dirancang agar suasana hijau dengan penataan yang baik. Penataan tanaman dan pohon juga menjadi salah satu hal utama agar sekolah menjadi lebih ASRI.

Kepala UPT Bangvasi UNNES Prof Dr Amin Retnoningsih MSi menegaskan pentingnya UGSR ini bukan sekadar sebagai pemeringkatan sekolah hijau tetapi juga meningkatkan komitmen sekolah terhadap lingkungan.

Melalui UGSR ini diharapkan para peserta kegiatan dapat saling menyebarkan kebaikan dan melestarikan lingkungan. Kegiatan lokakarya ini diakhiri dengan kunjungan ke lingkungan kampus Universitas Negeri Semarang.
