Kuatkan Literasi Digital Berbasis AI, FBS UNNES Gelar Pelatihan untuk Guru Blora

Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (FBS UNNES) menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertajuk “Penguatan Literasi Digital Guru Bahasa Inggris melalui Pemanfaatan Teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan untuk Keefektifan Pembelajaran”, Selasa (27/4/2025), di SMA Negeri 1 Blora.

Kegiatan ini diinisiasi sebagai upaya peningkatan literasi digital dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) bagi para guru yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Bahasa Inggris SMA Kabupaten Blora. Tim pelaksana terdiri atas dosen dan mahasiswa Program Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FBS UNNES, yakni Dr. Sri Wahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd., Dr. Rini Susanti Wulandari, M.Hum., Dr. Fahrur Rozi, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D., Thohiriyah, S.S., M.Hum., serta Nadya Zulfa C., Anggih Restu A., dan Fani Hindun Muawanah.

Pelatihan berlangsung secara interaktif melalui paparan materi dan praktik langsung mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Peserta dikenalkan dengan berbagai platform terkini seperti ChatGPT, Claude AI, dan Gamma App yang dapat digunakan untuk perencanaan pembelajaran, pengembangan materi ajar, serta peningkatan keterlibatan siswa.

Tak hanya membahas manfaatnya, pelatihan ini juga menyoroti tantangan etika dan peluang yang muncul dari pemanfaatan AI dalam dunia pendidikan. Para peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mencoba teknologi baru dan mengeksplorasi potensinya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk komitmen Program Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FBS UNNES dalam mendukung transformasi digital di sektor pendidikan, khususnya bagi guru di daerah. Selain itu, program ini sejalan dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs) poin ke-4, yaitu pendidikan berkualitas, dan poin ke-9, yaitu industri, inovasi, dan infrastruktur.

Melalui kegiatan ini, UNNES terus mengukuhkan perannya sebagai universitas konservasi yang berdampak dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi untuk kemajuan pendidikan nasional.
