Korps Bela Negara UNNES Ikuti Seminar Nasional di Akmil

Dua puluh dua mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) yang tergabung dalam Korps Bela Negara mengikuti Seminar Nasional Bela Negara di Lembah Tidar Akademi Militer (Akmil) Magelang, Kamis (20/9).

Acara yang bertema “Mempersiapkan Generasi Muda dalam Membangun Peradaban Modern Guna Mendukung Pertahanan Negara” tersebut, diikuti para Taruna dari Akademi Militer, Akademi Angkatan Laut, Akademi Angkatan Udara, Akademi Kepolisian dan berbagai mahasiswa se-Jawa Tengah dan Yogyakarta.

Hadir sebagai keynote speaker Letnan Jenderal TNI Tatang Sulaiman SSos MSi. Wakil Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Darat (Wakasad) itu menuturkan kunci kesuksesan generasi muda salah satunya dengan pendidikan karakter yang menghasilkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan karakteristik bangsa Indonesia.

Direktorat Jendral Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan Kemenristekdikti Republik Indonesia (Dirjen Belmawa) Prof Intan Ahmad PhD menambahkan, pengembangan teknologi pertahanan dan keamanan merupakan upaya Menristekdikti mendukung pertahanan negara. Oleh karena itu penting untuk meningkatkan akses, relevansi, dan mutu pendidikan tinggi agar dihasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas.

Didampingi Pembina Himpunan Mahasiswa P.IPS Rudi Salam MPd berharap seminar nasional ini bisa menjadi motivasi untuk ditularkan kepada mahasiswa lain agar mengamalkan nilai-nilai dari kegiatan bela negara dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Seminar Nasional ini turut dihadiri Gubernur Akademi Militer Mayor Jenderal TNI Eka Wiharsa, Guru Besar Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM) Prof Dr P.M Laksono MA, serta Ketua Program Studi S2/S3 Geografi UGM Dr Sri Rum Giarsih MSc.
