Konselor di sekolah mantap, di luar sekolah sigap, dan dimana-mana siap

Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Konselor (PPK) Jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) Fukultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang (FIP UNNES) melaksanakan kegiatan konseling lintas budaya di Kabupaten Pamekasan dan Kabupaten Sampang Madura Jawa Timur selama lima hari mulai Kamis sampai Senin (20 – 24 April 2017).

Kegiatan konseling lintas budaya ini kerjasama dengan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Pamekasan merupakan kegiatan komprehensif untuk menguatkan kompetensi profesional utamanya serta memantapkan kompetensi pedagogik, sosial, dan kepribadian calon konselor profesional.

Kepala Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Pamekasan Achmad Sjaifudin ST MT saat menerima rombongan di kantornya menyampaikan rasa bangga, bahagia, dan senang atas kehadiran tim UNNES. Selain itu, juga mengungkapkan siap dan membantu memfasilitasi segala kebutuhan serta kepentingan tim dari UNNES.

Ketua Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Konselor UNNES Drs Suharso MPd Kons menyampaikan mahasiswa yang praktik ini sedang menempuh pendidikan profesi untuk menjadi konselor profesional yang setelah lulus mendapat anugrah gelar konselor (Kons.) yang siap memberikan layanan konseling di sekolah mantap, di luar sekolah sigap termasuk dalam kegiatan trauma (krisis karena bencana dan lainnya), serta di mana-mana siap.

Suharso juga mengemukakan, nantinya lulusan profesi konselor bisa mendapatkan lisensi untuk membuka praktik privat pelayanan konseling diantaranya konseling perkawinan, konseling keluaraga, dan konseling karir.

Hadir Kasi Budaya dan Kesenian Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Sonny Budiharto SH MSi dan tokoh masyarakat Kabupaten Sumenep Abdul Haris MAg memberikan pesan kepada para calon konselor untuk tidak sombong dan tetap mempunyai idealism yang kongkrit dan membumi.

Konseling lintas budaya yang dilaksanakan di dalam sekolah diantaranya mberikan kegiatan klasikal dengan tema Kiat Sukses menghadapi Ujian Akhir Semester dan kegiatan bimbingan kelompok, serta konseling kelompok di SMKN 3 dan SMAN 4 Pamekasan.

Kemudian, di luar sekolah memberikan pelayanan konseling di masyarakat Kampung Sumur Putih dan Kampung Asta Barat Kelurahan Bugih Kecamatan Pamekasan Kabupaten Pamekasan, serta pada instansi mengikuti kegiatan festival budaya dengan ikut berpartisipasi dengan membuka stan Waroeng Konseling.

Sedangkan Kegiatan di Kabupaten Sampang Madura, melaksanakan seminar dan workshop dengan guru BK yang tergabung dalam Ikatan Bimbingan dan Konseling Sekolah (IBKS) dengan materi Pemantapan Pelayanan BK di Sekolah sesuai dengan Permendikbud No 111 Tahun 2014 dan Panduan Operasional BK di Sekolah, bimbingan kelompok teknik modeling simbolik, serta konseling kelompok teknik desensitasi sistematik.

Kegiatan Konseling Lintas Budaya ini didampingi dosen pendamping yakni Drs Suharso MPd Kons, Drs Heru Mugiharso MPd Kons, Dra MTh Sri Hartati MPd Kons, dan Kusnarto Kurniawan MPd Kons.
