Komunitas Fotografi itu (Akhirnya) Menjadi UKM

Komunitas mahasiswa pecinta fotografi Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) yang selama ini tergabung dalam Komunitas Club Leisure d’Image Chasseurs (CCLIC) resmi menjadi Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM).

Bersama presiden mahasiswa, Ketua Majelis Permusyawaratan Mahasiswa (MPM), Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa (DPM), dan ketua Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) lainnya, Ketua CLIC Sebi Audi F dilantik sebagai ketua UKM Fotografi oleh Rektor Unnes  Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum, Selasa (28/1) di Auditorium Kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Pengukuhan UKM Fotografi membahagiakan mahasiswa pecinta fotografi Unnes. Pasalnya, mereka akan mendapat tempat bernaung resmi setelah 9 tahun menjadi “komunitas lepas”.

Tidak hanya CLIC, Rektor juga mengukuhkan Unnes Sex Care Comunity (UnseCC) menjadi UKM. Asri Yunita Presetyaningtyas, mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat (IKM) menjadi ketua pertama UKM tersebut.

Serap Aspirasi

Presiden Mahasiswa Unnes Prasetyo Listiaji, dalam pidato perdana sebagai Presiden, menyatakan siap melanjutkan kinerja pengurus sebelumnya. Bersama kabinet yang telah dibentuk, ia berjanji akan memfasilitasi aspirasi mahasiswa.

“Agar mahasiswa Unnes tetap kritis terhadap persoalan kampus, mampu mewujudkan ide-idenya dalam bentuk tindakan positif,” katanya.

Kepada para mahasiswa pemimpin, Rektor mengharapkan agar UKM menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa mengembangkan diri menjadi pemimpin. Menurutnya, Lembaga Kemahasiswaan (LK) adalah tempat yang baik untuk mengembangan diri.  “Banyak sekali kesempatan bagi para mahasiswa untuk berlatih leadership di sini. Ikutlah berorganisasi, “ katanya.

Selanjutnya, Rektor mengemukakan bahwa alangkah baiknya aktivis mahasiswa juga memperluas jaringan internasional melalui berbagai kesempatan kegiatan di luar negeri.

“Banyak contoh partisipasi aktivis mahasiswa Unnes di kancah Internasional, misalnya HNMUN di Hardvard, One Young World di Afrika Selatan dan berbagai partisipasi mahasiswa lainnya,” ungkapnya.
