Dibangun, Kolam Renang “Tirta Sekar”

Fasilitas olahraga di universitas konservasi makin lengkap dengan dibangunnya kolam renang, dukungan dari Deputi Bidang Harmonisasi dan Kemitraan Kementrian Pemuda dan Olah Raga (Kemenpora). Tempat itu kelak akan diisi dengan berbagai fasilitas.

“Kelak ketika kolam renang itu jadi saya mengusulkan nama Tirta Sekar,” kata Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo ketika memberi sambutan pada peletakan batu pertama pembangunan kolam renang di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) Unnes Kampus Sekaran Gunungpati, Jumat (29/3).

Tirta, lanjut Rektor, adalah air, sedangkan sekar berasal dari nama desa Sekaran, di mana Unnes menempati area tersebut. ”Saya ingin pemberian tempat dengan nama itu dapat memberi dukungan, terutama bagi kelancaran kegiatan perkuliahan mahasiswa FIK khususnya, dan masyarakat sekitar umumnya’,’ kata Prof Sudijono.

Menurut Hari Pramono, Dekan FIK yang juga Ketua Komite Pembangunan Kolam Renang Unnes, dana pembangunan kolam tersebut berasal dari Kemenpora. “Jumlahnya lebih dari 24,7 miliar,” katanya. Fasilitas yang akan dibangun meliputi kolam renang kompetisi dengan luas 1300 m2, dua kolam latih 150 m2 dan 72 m2, kolam loncat indah 575 m2, selain itu dilengkapi juga dengan dua tribun barat dan timur serta fasilitas penunjang lainnya.

Peresmian pembangunan ditandai dengan peletakan batu pertama oleh Rektor Unnes dan Deputi Bidang Harmonisasi dan Kemitraan yang diwakili oleh Asisten Deputi Pengembangan Sarana dan Prasarana Kepemudaan (Kemenpora) Abdul Hafied, MM.

    bagaimana perasaan kawan2 kita yang ada di FH?
    gedung cuma satu namun tak kunjung dibangun lagi yang baru. sedangkan yang sudah punya fasilitas jauh lebih lengkap terus saja mendapat fasilitas baru dan baru lagi.

    Alhmd.sungguh luar biasa.semoga memberikan manfaat yang berarti bagi semuanya.khususnya para mahasiswa FIK UNNES dalam pengembangan diri dalam cabang olahraga air (renang khususnya).siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip.

  3. di FIK ada yang namanya kuliah praktek renang, dan dulu harus kuliah saja ke KODAM IV atau GOR Jati Diri dan juga jamnya bisa jam 06.00 wib, pagi banget tu, jauh jaraknya,, belum resiko perjalanan. tapi syukurlah sekarang dah ada fasilitasnya.
    usul Khusus : sabtu-minggu, karena tidak ada perkuliahan, mahasiswa dari fakultas lain dipersilahkan untuk singgah, sebagai tamu. ^_^,
