Kolaborasi UNNES-JVIC, Jembatani Ilmu dan Budaya Dunia

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melalui Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) kembali melakukan kolaborasi strategis dengan Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Commerce (JVIC). Pada Rabu (5/11), UNNES menggelar peresmian Zheng He College serta peluncuran Program Double Degree Angkatan II di Aula FEB UNNES. Kegiatan ini menjadi momentum penting dalam memperkuat jembatan ilmu pengetahuan dan kebudayaan antarbangsa.

Acara dihadiri oleh Vice President JVIC, Mr. Wang Bing, dan Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerja Sama, Bisnis, dan Hubungan Internasional UNNES, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus. Dalam sambutannya, keduanya menegaskan pentingnya memperkuat kolaborasi akademik dan budaya antara kedua institusi.

Mr. Wang Bing menyampaikan bahwa mahasiswa Zheng He College, baik angkatan pertama maupun kedua, merupakan duta budaya sekaligus pejuang masa depan.

“Mereka bukan hanya mengejar keunggulan akademik, tetapi juga berperan sebagai jembatan pemahaman lintas budaya, penjalin jejaring profesional, dan pencipta inovasi lintas negara yang menghidupkan kembali semangat pelayaran dan persahabatan Laksamana Zheng He dalam konteks masa kini,” ungkapnya.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerja Sama, Bisnis, dan Hubungan Internasional UNNES, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi ini sejalan dengan semangat internasionalisasi UNNES yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai konservasi dan kebhinekaan.

“Kolaborasi ini menjadi bukti nyata bagaimana UNNES terus berperan aktif dalam menghubungkan ilmu pengetahuan, budaya, dan kemanusiaan lintas negara,” ungkap Prof. Nur Qudus.

Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh Senior Manager ICCCM Malaysia, Ms. Loo Hui Ann; Dekan FEB UNNES, Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmud; perwakilan dari Sam Poo Kong dan Yayasan Boen Hian Tong; Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Tengah; serta Dr. Bahrodin selaku Pengawas Ahli Utama Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

Mahasiswa angkatan I dan II turut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan kaligrafi bersama Mr. Wang Bing.

Sejak tahun 2021, UNNES, ITEA–ICCCM Malaysia, dan JVIC menjalin kemitraan trilateral yang berorientasi pada penguatan pendidikan vokasional, riset, dan kebudayaan. Kolaborasi ini dimulai melalui Foreign Language & Skill Training Program (FLST) dan berkembang menjadi Friendship College Program pada tahun 2023.

Keberhasilan Angkatan I sebagai perintis, serta kehadiran Angkatan II dengan 63 mahasiswa dari Program Studi Manajemen dan Ekonomi Pembangunan FEB UNNES, menjadi bukti nyata keberlanjutan dan keberhasilan model kolaborasi ini.

Peresmian Lembaga Riset Kebudayaan Zheng He serta Program Double Degree Angkatan II menjadi tonggak penting dalam transformasi kerja sama antara UNNES dan JVIC. Kegiatan ini menandai pergeseran dari kolaborasi di bidang vokasional menuju pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan peradaban.

Melalui lembaga riset tersebut, UNNES-JVIC akan menjadikan warisan budaya Zheng He dan kearifan lokal sebagai dasar pengembangan riset serta solusi atas tantangan global di bidang ekonomi maritim, perdagangan internasional, diplomasi budaya, dan ekonomi kreatif.
