Kokohkan Bahasa dan Seni, FBS UNNES Gelar BBS

Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang, menyelenggarakan webinar secara Daring sebagai pembuka perhelatan tahunan kegiatan Bulan Bahasa dan Seni (BBS) tahun 2021, Jumat (1/10)

Berbagai kegiatan akademik maupun, pertunjukan seni, pelatihan dan perlombaan digelar pada BBS tahun ini. Kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakam FBS seperti Konferensi Internasional, Workshop, webinar dan kegiatan kesenian seperti pentas Tari Virtual, Musikalisasi puisi, orasi budaya, dan pertunjukan seni lainnya akan digelar pada Bulan Oktober ini.

Dekan FBS Dr Sri Rejeki Urip MHum mengatakan kegiatan Bulan Bahasa dan Seni yang mengusung tema “Mengokohkan Wawasan Kebahasaan dan Kesenian untuk Indonesia Tangguh” tema selaras dengan Visi UNNES, Visi FBS, dan semangat 76 Tahun RI.

“Kegiatan BBS merupakan wujud komitmen dan kontribusi nyata Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni dalam memfasilitasi warga kampus untuk mengembangkan potensi dan kompetensinya. 3 kata kunci utama dalam tema Bulan Bahasa dan Seni, Pertama, bahasa bukan sekadar makna dalam sistem lambang bunyi melainkan sebagai perekat dan pemersatu bangsa. Kedua, wawasan seni merupakan sikap, pendekatan, pemahaman, serta penghayatan terhadap kesenian dan karya seni. Ketiga, spirit Indonesia tangguh menjadi semboyan 76 tahun Indonesia, tutur Dekan FBS UNNES,” terang Dr Sri Rejeki Urip.

Dalam webinar pembukaan BBS ini hadir sebagai narasumber budayawan Indonesia Ahmad Tohari. menurutnya bahasa Indonesia memiliki 2 fungsi, yaitu fungsi komunikasi dan fungsi jati diri kebangsaan.

“Bahasa Indonesia berjasa besar dalam menumbuhkan persatuan. Bahasa mempunyai peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi. Tak hanya itu, bahasa juga berperan dalam menginterpretasikan kebenaran jati diri.”

Ketua Bulan Bahasa dan Seni tahun 2021, Zulfa Syakia, PHd menyampaikan bahwa Rangkaian kegiatan Bulan Bahasa dan Seni akan berlangsung mulai hari ini hingga puncak peringatan Bulan Bahasa dan Seni yang jatuh pada tanggal 28 Oktober 2021 bertepatan dengan hari sumpah Pemuda.

Zulfa menambahkan, akan ada lebih dari 30 kegiatan yang di selenggarakan baik luring maupun daring. Kegiatan ini mencakup kegiatan akademik dan non akademik, pungkasnya.
