Kisah Kota Lama Karya Mahasiswa Unnes Dipamerkan

Satu lagi, karya Sofa Bagus Panuntun mahasiswa jurusan seni rupa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) dipamerkan di Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery, hingga pertengahan Maret.

“perhelatan pameran sketsa hasil kerja sama Semarang Gallery dengan Komunitas ORArt-ORET dan ArsiSKETur ini sebetulnya sudah dimulai sejak 9 Februari lalu, namun karena antusias masyarakat, pihak Gallery memperpanjang waktu penyelenggaraan pameran sketsa ini,” kata mahasiswa program studi seni rupa murni ini disela sela pameran yang bertajuk arsitek, perupa dan sketsa Kota Lama Semarang.

Menurut Manajer Gallery Semarang Radhiah Safitri, pameran yang dibuka budayawan dan mantan Rektor Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) Prof Eko Budiharjo ini merupakan salah satu upaya pendokumentasian lanskap, bangunan heritage dan berbagai aktivitas yang berada di kawasan Kota Lama melalui karya sketsa. Muaranya heritage yang sangat bernilai bagi jagat arsitektur dan pariwisata kota Semarang mendapat perhatian dari para stake holder agar upaya pelestariannya tidak diabaikan, “Harapannya pameran ini dapat menggugah berbagai pihak untuk ikut berperan serta dalam melestarikan keberadaan Kota Lama heritage yang menyimpan sejarah,“ ujar Ipiet panggilan akrab Radhiah Safitri.

Sebuah bukti kalau para sketser dan arsitek juga tak mau ketinggalan ingin ikut berperanserta mendokumentasikan Kota Lama dalam karya. Tak kurang dari 90 karya sketsa karya dari 43 seniman yang membingkai lanskap, aktivitas dan bangunan yang ada di kawasan Kota Lama Semarang menghiasi dinding Semarang Gallery. Menariknya karya yang ditaja ini merupakan hasil karya para arsitek dan perupa yang sudah melalui proses kurasi melalui kompetisi.

Dengan mengusung tema: Lanskap dan Bangunan Kota Lama Semarang. Sejak awal Januari panitia menerima karya sketsa yang kemudian diseleksi oleh para dewan juri yang dari berbagai latar belakang dan kompeten seperti : Chris Dharmawan (pendiri dan pemilik Semarang Gallery), Aryo Sunaryo ( Dosen Unnes ), Dadang Pribadi (Ketua Komunitas ORArt-ORET Semarang), Sugiarto (Ketua Komunitas Sketser Arsitektur ArsiSKETur), dan Heti Palestina Yunani (jurnalis dan pencinta seni), serta Rudi Hartanto (arsitek).

Selain pameran, sarasehan tema Mengangkat Nilai Kota Lama Melalui Sketsa juga digelar dengan menampilkan pembicara Prof Totok Roesmanto (arsitek Unndip) dan Aryo Sunaryo (Dosen Seni Rupa Unnes), dengan moderator Ir Riandy Tarigan.
