Ki Purbo Asmoro Bawakan Lakon Sang Balarama

Pagelaran wayang digelar dalam rangka dies natalis ke-51 Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). Lakon Sang Balarama ditampilkan oleh dalang Ki Purbo Asmoro. Pagelaran wayang kulit yang ditonton oleh warga Unnes dan warga masyarakat sekitar kampus Unnes tersebut diselenggarakan di halaman parkir Auditorium Unnes Sekaran, Jumat (1/4).

Dalam sambutannya Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman Mhum mengucapkan syukur atas terlaksananya rangkaian kegiatan dies Natalis ke-51 tahun ini. Serangkaian acara berhasil terlaksana dengan baik berkat sinergi seluruh civitas akademika Unnes.

”Konservasi tak hanya menjadi slogan. Berbagai bentuk konservasi akan dijalankan Unnes. Pagelaran wayang merupakan salah satu bentuk perwujudan nyata konservasi budaya di Unnes. Pertunjukan wayang di dalamnya terdapan ajaran nilai luhur yang dapat menjadi tuntunan bagi warga Unnes dan warga masyarakat dalam menjalani kehidupan,” katanya.

Dalang Ki Purbo Asmoro melakonkan Sang Balarama, tokoh raja yang memiliki karakter jujur, adil, dan tulus. Sang Balarama merupakan titisan naga, titisan Sanghyang Basuki, dan titisan Dewa Keselamatan.

Pagelaran wayang kulit selain sebagai penguatan nilai konservasi budaya, juga sebagai upaya Unnes mendekatkan diri dan membaur dengan masyarakat sekitar kampus.

    di daerahku, Kebumen, pagelaran wayang sudah sangat jarang ditemui, mungkin karena tarifnya yang tinggi sehingga banyak masyrakat yang berfikir 2 kali untuk menggelar wayang. Unnes sebagai kampus yang punya duit :):), sudah selayaknya menggelar acara budaya seperti ini untuk memenuhi rasa rindu masyarakat terhadap pemantasan wayang. Kalo bukan kita yang melestarikan lalu siapa lagi?. .

    Secara konsisten Unnes selalu mengangkat nilai-nilai luhur konservasi dalam setiap kegiatannya. Hal ini semakin membuktikan bahwa Unnes benar-benar rumah ilmu yang siap mencetak peradaban.

    Hal ini juga menjadi bukti bahwa Unnes selalu melakukan akselerasi inovasi guna terciptanya kampus konservasi bereputai internasional.

    Teguh dan konsisten tidaklah mudah. Saya mengapresiasi Unnes sebagai universitas konservasi yang tak hanya fokus pada konservasi alam, namun juga konservasi sosial. Semakin meneguhkan visi Unnes sebagai universitas konservasi bereputasi internasional yang artinya, menyejajarkan diri melalui apa pun itu, salah satunya kebanggaan akan khazanah budaya bangsa. Bravo!
