Unnes Jalin Kerja Sama Pendidikan dengan Jepang

Unnes sebagai salah satu anggota Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Keguruan (LPTK) dan letter of guarantee dari Atase Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Indonesia di Tokyo menandatangi nota kesepahaman (Memorandum of Understanding/MoU). Kerja sama dilaksanakan di Tokyo, Hiroshima, dan Tsebu Jeoang beberapa waktu yang lalu.

Kerja sama ini bertujuan menindaklanjuti kegiatan kerja sama dalam bidang pendidikan dan peniltian, antara Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI dengan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan dan Olahraga Jepang, terutama dengan mengambil fokus penguatan bidang kependidikan.

Selain itu rancangan bidang kerja sama antara LPTK di Indonesia dengan Univeristas di Jepang serta asosiasi pendidikan di Jepang menjadi pembicaraan yang akhirnya merumuskan komitmen kerja sama dalam pengiriman study dosen, pertukaran mahasiswa, penelitian bersama, darma siswa, dan tukar kepakaran.

Tindak lanjut penandatangan MoU tersebut melahirkan kerja sama dengan Hiroshima University, Tsuba University, dan Asosiasi Pendidikan Jepang.

Bertaraf Internasional

Mewujudkan  visi Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) sebagai universitas konservasi yang bertaraf internasional yang sehat, unggul, dan sejahtera diperlukan pengembangan kualitas dan akses kerja sama internasional.

“Kerja sama ini diharapkan akan memeberikan penguatan kelembagaan dan peningkatan dalam berbagai bidang akademis dan pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) bertaraf internasional,” kata Prof Fathur Rokhman, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama sebagai wakil Unnes dalam kesempatan tersebut.

Anggota LPTK yang turut hadir dalam penandatangan nota kesepahaman tersebut antara lain Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Universitas Neger Yogyakarta (UNY), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksa), Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Univeristas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG), dan Universitas Negeri Makasar (UNM).
