Kerja Sama PT Pos, Orang Tua Diharapkan Terbantu

Zaman sudah gini kok masih bicara tentang pos. Itulah anekdot di kalangan generasi muda sekarang. Namun hingga kini pun, masih ada yang tak tergantikan oleh jasa pos.

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo  mengungkapkan hal itu setelah penandatanganan naskah kesepahaman dengan PT Pos Indonesia di Bandung Giri Gahana Jalan Raya Jatinangor Sumedang, Sabtu (11/3). Pihak PT Pos diwakili Maman Suherman selaku Kepala Divisi Regional VI Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta .

Ruang lingkup perjanjian kerjasama ini meliputi pengiriman surat dan dokumen Unnes dengan menggunakan layanan Pos Kilat Khusus, Pos Exprees, Exprees Mail Service, dan layanan kiriman korporiat PT Pos.

Hadir pada kegiatan itu Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama (PR IV) Prof Fathur Rohman, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Administrasi Umum (PR II) Wahyono, Ketua Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengadian kepada Masyarakat Bambang BR, dan  Supaat, Kepala Bagian Kerja Sama. Dari PT Pos, hadir pula Direktur Pusat Isbiyanto dan jajaran lainnya.

Rektor mengatakan, faktanya beberapa tahun ini pihaknya merasakan  ada kesulitan orang tua untuk mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang begitu cepat. “Iinternet misalnya, tidak semua orang tua mahasiswa bisa mengaksesnya,” katanya

Dia mencontohkan mahasiswa kurang berprestasi, tapi mahasiswa tersebut kreatif pinjam daftar nilai temannya yang nilainya bagus kemudian namanya diganti terus di fotokopi. “Hasil foto kopi itulah yang kemudian diserahkan kepada orang tuanya,” kata Prof Sudijono.

Dia mengharapkan, setelah kerja sama dengan PT Pos hal seperti itu tidak terjadi lagi sehingga orang tua tidak dirugikan dan tidak menyulitkan siapa pun.

“Kendala yang dihadapi orang tua mahasiswa adalah ketidaktahuan tentang bagaimana sebetulnya pretasi atau kinerja dari anaknya yang kuliah di suatu perguruan tinggi. Pada hal dari pihak perguruan tinggi sudah mengirimkan sebuah SMS (pesan singkat), email, kepada seluruh orang tua mahasiswa tersebut. Namun hanya berapa persen saja yang bisa mengakses informasi dari perguruan tinggi itu,” kata Maman.

Dia, mengatakan, “setelah MoU ini ditandatangani nantinya kartu hasil studi (KHS) akan dikirimkan  kepada orang tua mahasiswa untuk memberi informasi yang natural lewat PT POS, serta mendapatkan laporan-laporan rutin dari perguruan tinggi, sehingga dapat  memperpendek atau mempercepat masa kuliah,” katanya.

    Saya sebagai orang tua mahasiswa kok tidak tahu dan belum pernah menerima SMS seperti yang di maksud diatas?
