Kerjakan yang Kamu Tulis, Tulis yang Kamu Kerjakan, Lalu Upload

Untuk mempertahankan peringkat Webometrics agar tidak disalip universitas lain, kita perlu menyusun sejumlah strategi. Salah satunya dengan mengaktifkan kembali forum diskusi di web, terutama pada momen-momen yang mengundang banyak perhatian dan pertanyaan.

Imam Siswanto MSi, dosen Universitas Airlangga mengemukakan hal itu saat menjadi pembicara Focus Group Discussion Strategi Peningkatan Peringkat Worldclass University versi Webometrics yang diselenggarakan oleh Tim Pengembang Jurnal Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Rabu (16/11), di Ruang 405 Gedung H Lantai IV Kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Menurutnya, strategi ini akan meningkatkan bobot nilai web universitas pada kategori size atau jumlah halaman elektronik dalam suatu website universitas yang terindeks oleh mesin pencari. Untuk meningkatkan bobot nilai pada kategori visibility yaitu jumlah total tautan situs eksternal yang secara unik mencantumkan alamat website universitas.

”Jika berupaya saja peringkat belum tentu naik, apalagi kalau diam, kita pasti kesalip. Karena itu kita harus terus berupaya,” tukas Imam, mantan Direktur Sistem Informasi Unair itu.

Imam juga menerangkan, perbaikan dan penguatan utama dilakukan pada bagian file penelitian. Pengunggahan berbagai format file pengajaran maupun penelitian digencarkan dengan menggandeng banyak pihak “kerjakan yang kamu tulis, tulis yang kamu kerjakan, lalu di upload,” terangnya.

Kegiatan yang dibuka Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo ini diikuti oleh 45 orang, terdiri dari Dekan, Direktur Pascasarjana, Pembantu Dekan I dan staf PTIK Unnes “ Walaupun pengelola jurnal sudah bekerja keras, tapi kalau Unit Kerja yang lain tidak mendukung pasti hasilnya tidak akan maksimal” kata Rektor.

    kalau semua komponen civitas (maaf terutama para dosen dan pustakawan) punya kesadaran spt dua komentar itu, sy yakin unnes tidak ketinggalan utk menduduki ranking bergensi versi webometrics
