Kemendikbud Luncurkan Logo Kampus Merdeka, UNNES Sambut dengan Berbagai Kesiapan

Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Dirjen Dikti) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Prof Ir Nizam MSc DIC PhD secara resmi meluncurkan logo Kampus Merdeka secara virtual melalui zoom, Senin (14/9).

Dalam sambutannya, Prof Nizam menyampaikan bahwa program Kampus Merdeka sudah menjadi trending dunia saat ini.

“Program Kampus Merdeka sudah mendunia, sudah berdiaspora dengan Perguruan Tinggi Luar Negeri dan sudah di-launching 5 konsorsium. Saya menyampaikan terima kasih kepada perguruan tinggi yang telah menyiapkan Kampus Merdeka dengan berbagai persiapan seperti merancang kurikulum dan lain sebagainya,” jelas Prof Nizam.

Menurutnya, semangat untuk memerdekakan ruang keilmuan yang tidak punya batas nyata adalah melalui semangat merdeka belajar. Kedepan tantangan belajar akan sangat komplek, kemajuan teknologi dan perubahan sistem sosial sangat cepat. Untuk itu perguruan tinggi harus menyiapkan kompetensi untuk membuka peluang sebesar-besarnya bagi mahasiswa. Cara terbaik adalah bersama menciptakan masa depan.

“Kita padukan kampus dan dunia kerja untuk menciptakan peluang di masa depan. Sinergi perguruan tinggi dengan dunia usaha, dunia kerja, pemerintah, media, dan lain sebagainya terus dibangun untuk menciptakan hari esok yang lebih baik,” ajak Prof Nizam.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Prof Nizam juga mengingatkan mengenai esensi ajaran Ki Hajar Dewantara bahwa tujuan pendidikan bukan sekadar memberikan ilmu namun juga menyiapkan insan merdeka yang berbudaya.

“Pendidikan harus mampu menciptakan insan yang tetap berbudaya dan mampu menciptakan kemerdekaan pada diri sendiri. Kampus juga harus masuk dalam kehidupan sehingga kampus menjadi mata air bagi kehidupan,” ujar Prof Nizam.

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menyambut baik program Kampus Merdeka Indonesia Jaya.  Melalui sinergi,  prestasi, dan inovasi  UNNES siap menyambut Kampus Merdeka dengan melakukan berbagai kesiapan.

“Kita sambut program Merdeka Belajar dari Mas Menteri Nadiem Makarim dengan berbagai kesiapan. UNNES telah merancang kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dan Kampus Merdeka,” jelas Prof Fathur.

Sebagai salah satu Lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia, UNNES terus berkomitmen mendukung inovasi pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan bagi terciptanya atmosfer pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Secara konkret, beberapa langkah nyata telah UNNES lakukan guna mendukung implementasi Program Kampus Merdeka diantaranya memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk melakukan magang (internship) di berbagai BUMN, institusi, maupun instansi pemerintah. Selain itu, UNNES juga mendukung mahasiswa untuk melakukan proyek di daerah pedesaaan, mengajar di sekolah, pertukaran pelajar, penelitian hingga wirausaha.
