Kembangkan Interaksi Akademik Melalui Web Guna Peningkatan Webomatrics

Komunikasi akademik dosen dengan mahasiswa terjadi setiap hari dalam lingkungan kampus yang dinamis. Komunikasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas keilmuan dan berpengaruh pada pertukaran ide-ide yang sedang menjadi trend perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan saat ini. Menimbang pentingnya hal tersebut, Jurusan Kurikulum dan Teknologi Pendidikan (KTP) di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan UNNES mengadakan  workshop pengembangan Gedung Dekanat FIP, Selasa (25/10). Diharapkan dari kegiatan ini akan  meningkatkan prestasi webomatrics web Universitas Negeri Semarang .

Workshop ini medatangkan tiga pakar di bidang web dan broadcasting. Pembicara pertama Abdul Rahman dari Universitas Pandanaran. Pembicara kedua  Anies Erfan, dan Pembicara ketiga Guntur Darmawan dari perusahaan Multimedia Broadcasting Crocodic.

Sesi pertama mengupas tentang standardisasi web untuk perguruan tinggi. Materi sesi ini banyak bicara tentang prestasi web di perguruan tinggi berdasar penilaian webomatrics. Webomatrics menjadi salah satu acuan dalam melihat tingkatan prestasi web melalui sebuah wadah penelitian berbasis web yang diinterpretasikan oleh webomatrics. Masukan dari sesi ini mengerucut pada penggunaan email afiliasi seperti @mail.unnes.ac.id yang harus dipakai oleh semua civitas akademika unnes untuk meningkatkan satu aspek penilaian webomatrics.

Sesi kedua membahas tentang templating dan data management di lingkup web perguruan tinggi. Templating standar dikhususkan berdasarkan validasi dan penilaian ahli media, di mana kepakaran media selama ini sudah ada di jurusan kurikulum dan teknologi pendidikan.  Templating web dalam pengembangan ini akan dirancang menjadi content management system (CMS) selanjutnya menjadi prototype web sub seperti web jurusan dibawah web resmi https://unnes.ac.id. Data management juga disampaikan secara rinci, mulai dari persiapan data yang berhubungan dengan aspek penilaian webomatrics hingga pengaturan privilidge dan standardisasi data yang diatur oleh admin untuk dionline kan secara konsisten.

Sesi ketiga mengupas tentang multimedia dan broadcasting, berbicara tentang trend broadcasting yang sedang ramai saat ini. Kritikan terhadap materi-materi broadcast yang tidak tersaring secara baik di sosial media menyebabkan dampak negative dalam perkembangan karakter di masyarakat pengguna sosial media. Broadcasting dapat menjadi tolok ukur kreatifitas dari hasil karya mahasiswa atau dosen yang membagi ilmunya secara luas sehingga perlu digalakan gerakan broadcast hasil karya civitas akademika sesuai bidang ilmunya melalui social media.

Kegiatan yang diikuti oleh 130 mahasiswa dan 20 dosen bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prototype web jurusan, yang bisa dimanfaatkan secara luas untuk meningkatkan prestasi webomatrics web UNNES pada khususnya. (Kontributor  Ghanis Putra Widhanarto Jurusan KTP)
