Kembangkan Eduwisata Batik, Tim PHP2D UNNES Gandeng Dinas Pariwisata Demak

Tim Program Holistik Pembinaan dan Pemberdayaan Desa (PHP2D) KBBI Universitas Negeri Semarang melakukan audiensi program ke Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Demak pada Rabu, (29/9). Pendamping Pengabdian Masyarakat, Diyamon Prasandha SPd MPd, menyampaikan adanya Program Pengembangan Eduwisata Batik Mlatiharjan di Desa Mlatiharjo, sehingga dapat terjalin jejaring kemitraan dengan Dinas Pariwisata Demak.

Kegiatan yang turut dihadiri oleh KUP Batik Mlatiharjan ini, disambut hangat oleh Nia Kurnia Zauharoh, selaku Sekretaris Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Demak. Dalam sambutannya, Nia menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan audiensi seperti ini diperlukan sebagai upaya memperluas pembangunan desa oleh dinas, utamanya melalui pengembangan desa wisata.

“Kami mengapresiasi kedatangan tim PHP2D Unnes bersama perwakilan KUP Batik Mlatiharjan. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, kami dapat mengetahui adanya potensi batik di Desa Mlatiharjo yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi Pusat Eduwisata Batik di Kabupaten Demak,” tutur Nia.

Dalam kesempatan ini, tim PHP2D bersama kelompok mitra dan Dinas Pariwisata bercurah gagasan mengenai kondisi serta perkembangan KUP Batik Mlatiharjan, utamanya dari manajemen kelompok serta pemasaran produk. Ketua KUP Batik Mlatiharjan, Arif Purwanto, menyampaikan kengininan serta semangatnya untuk mengembangkan Eduwisata Batik Mlatiharjan, sehingga Batik Mlatiharjan dapat menjadi salah satu produk unggulan di Kabupaten Demak.

“Sejak saya dirikan di tahun 2013, saya bersama tim selalu berusaha untuk menumbuhkembangkan Batik Mlatiharjan menjadi salah satu batik unggulan di Demak. Kami berharap, Dinas Pariwisata Demak dapat mendukung dan mengarahkan kami dalam upaya membangun Eduwisata Batik Mlatiharjan ini,” ucap Arif.

Bak gayung bersambut, Dinas Pariwisata langsung memberikan arahan-arahan kepada tim bagaimana untuk mengembangkan Batik Mlatiharjan melalui eduwisata batik. Salah satu arahannya yakni pengembangan pemasaran produk melalui digital marketing sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan branding produk Batik Mlatiharjan. Berani bergerak menjadi kunci utama dalam upaya membangun desa, seperti yang diungkapkan Sutomo, Kabid Pengembangan ODTW dan Ekonomi Kreatif

Tim PHP2D Unnes berharap Eduwisata Batik Mlatiharjan dapat terwujud melalui kerja sama yang sinergis bersama Dinas Pariwisata Demak.

“Semoga dengan adanya kegiatan audiensi ini, Program Pengembangan Edusiwata Batik Mlatiharjan dapat terwujud melalui dukungan dan arahan dari Dinas Pariwisata selaku penunjang keberlanjutan program kedepannya,” pungkas Yuni, tim PHP2D.
