Kelompok Bermain Labschool Unnes Belajar Tandur

Matahari baru beranjak naik, namun sekelompok balita dari Labschool Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) telah siap melakukan aksi yang tidak pernah mereka lakukan di sekolah.

Di petak sawah area Balemong Resort Ungaran, Kamis (15/5), mereka melakukan pekerjaan yang biasa dilakukan para petani, yaitu menanam padi di hamparan sawah yang sudah siap ditanami.

Setelah guru yang berdiri di atas pematang sawah memberikan aba-aba, lebih dari lima puluh murid itu bersama-sama membenamkan akar benih padi pada lapisan bawah tanah sawah yang sudah lembek itu. Sambil berjalan mundur, mereka sangat antusias melakukan tandur—menanam padi di sawah. Mereka melakukan sambil bercanda-ria bahkan sesekali saling meledek gara-gara tanduran mereka dinilai tidak bagus dilihat.

“Mereka senang mengikuti acara Family Gatering Kelompok Bermain Labschool Unnes ini,” kata Ketua Panitia, Bitasari KA SPd. Dia mengaku ini adalah kali pertama dia menanam padi. “Ternyata susah juga ya,” ucap dia.

“Kami ingin mempraktikkan sistem belajar langsung di lapangan kepada anak-anak sejak dini dengan semangat kearifan lokal. Bukan hanya tandur padi, mereka juga ikut menagkap ikan dan membajak sawah,” ujarnya.

Dhiana Binantari, Kepala Kelompok Bermain Lab School Unnes, mengatakan acara bertema “Alam juga sahabatku” itu dihadiri orang tua dengan putra-putrinya untuk mengikuti berbagai kegiatan yang sifatnya membangun generasi penerus dan merangsang minat belajar anak dengan suasana menyenangkan.

Dia mengatakan, acara tersebut diselenggarakan sebagai upaya mengajarkan kepada siswa itu harus banyak praktik langsung ke lapangan agar lebih memberikan wawasan dan pengayaan ilmu kepada para murid.

Kegiatan ini sangat cocok untuk anak-anak Labschool Unnes sebagai wisata studi, dimana anak-anak akan berkenalan dengan alam, sawah, tanah berlumpur dan juga binatang kerbau.

“Mereka belajar bercocok tanam padi, membajak dengan kerbau, bahkan menaiki bajak yang ditarik kerbau adalah pengalaman yang belum tentu didapat oleh anak-anak lainnya,” kata Dhiana.
