Kelas MKU Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan UNNES Peringati Hari Penegakan Kedaulatan Negara

Mata Kuliah Umum (MKU) Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), memperingati Hari Penegakan Kedaulatan Negara 1 Maret 2022. Seluruh mahasiswa berkuliah mengenakan hasduk merah putih sebagai simbol nasionalisme seperti halnya bendera merah putih.

Kayla Wulansari Wijaya Komting MKU PKn Rombel 221 menyampaikan sangat semangat mengikuti perkuliahan ini.

“Saya sangat menyambut semangat atas perkuliahan PKn ini karena juga sebagai momentum memperingati peristiwa bersejarah tepatnya peristiwa 1 Maret 1949 yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai Hari Penegakan Kedaulatan Negara untuk memupuk rasa nasionalisme,” tegasnya.

Hal serupa disampaikan Annisa Sholikhatul Fatih, mahasiswa MKU Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan ini mengaku sangat apresiasi atas peringatan hari bersejarah ini yang diperingati dalam proses perkuliahan.

Sementara, Rudi Salam SPd MPd selaku dosen pengampu menyampaikan bahwa pentingnya peringatan hari Penegakan Kedaulatan Negara adalah dalam rangka menanamkan kesadaran mahasiswa dan masyarakat terhadap nilai-nilai sejarah perjuangan bangsa guna memperkuat kepribadian dan harga diri bangsa yang pantang menyerah, patriotik, rela berkorban, berjiwa nasional, dan berwawasan kebangsaan, serta memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan nasional

Perkuliahan MKU Kewarganegaraan Rombel 221 yang dilaksanakan secara daring melalui platform zoom pada hari Rabu tanggal 2 Maret 2022, yang diikuti oleh 42 mahasiswa.

Perkuliahan diawali dengan berdoa serta mendoakan para pahlawan yang telah gugur terutama pahlawan yang terlibat dalam peristiwa serangan umum 1 Maret 1949 dan menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya, Mars Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Kemudian dilanjutkan mengkaji Pertama, bahwa Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) yang diproklamasikan tanggal 17 Agustus 1945 adalah negara yang merdeka dan berdaulat sehingga dapat mewujudkan tujuan bernegara sebagaimana termaktub dalam Pembukaan Undang-Undang Dasar (UUD) Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, yaitu untuk melindungi segenap bangsa Indonesia dan seluruh tumpah darah Indonesia dan untuk memajukan kesejahteraan umum, mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, dan ikut melaksanakan ketertiban dunia yang berdasarkan kemerdekaan, perdamaian abadi, dan keadilan sosial.

Kedua, bahwa setelah Proklamasi Kemerdekaan 17 Agustus 1945 upaya bangsa Indonesia untuk memperoleh pengakuan kedaulatan dari dunia internasional mendapat perlawanan dari Belanda dengan melakukan agresi militer dan propaganda politik di Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB).

Ketiga, bahwa peristiwa Serangan Umum 1 Maret 1949 yang digagas oleh Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX dan diperintahkan oleh Panglima Besar Jenderal Soedirman serta disetujui dan digerakkan oleh Presiden Soekarno dan Wakil Presiden Mohammad Hatta dan didukung oleh Tentara Nasional Indonesia, Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia, laskar-laskar perjuangan rakyat, dan segenap komponen bangsa Indonesia lainnya, merupakan bagian penting dalam sejarah perjuangan bangsa Indonesia yang mampu menegakkan kembali eksistensi dan kedaulatan Negara Indonesia di dunia internasional serta telah berhasil menyatukan kembali kesadaran dan semangat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa Indonesia.
