Ke Padang, 6 Mahasiswa Wakili Unnes di MTQ Nasional

Enam mahasiswa Unnes akan mewakili Universitas Konservasi ini dalam kompetisi Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) Nasional XIII di Padang. Selama sepekan, keenam mahasiswa tersebut akan mengikuti kegiatan nasional itu, mulai Minggu 23 Juni hingga Sabtu 29 Juni.

Yulfiani akan “berlaga” pada cabang Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran (MTQ), Raeni akan mengikuti cabang Musabaqoh Karya Tulis Ilmiah Kandungan Al-Quran, Irkhamur Rois dan Rifda Haniefa akan mengikuti cabang Musabaqoh Debat Ilmiah Kandungan Al-Quran dalam Bahasa Arab, adapun Sakilah Bewafa dan Istiqomah Khoiril Ilmi akan mengikuti cabang Musabaqoh Debat Ilmiah Kandungan Al-Quran dalam Bahasa Inggris.

Keenamnya didampingi Dr Zaim Elmubarok M Ag dan Meddiati Fajri Putri, S Pd, M Sc. Pembukaan MTQ, sebagaimana dikabarkan panitia, akan dilangsungkan di GOR H Agus Salim Kota Padang.

Rektor Unnes Prof Fathur Rokhman berpesan supaya delegasi Unnes dapat berkompetisi dengan dengan riang. Selain berkompetisi mereka akan menjadi duta universitas dalam menyosialisasikan program Unnes sebagai Universitas Konservasi.

“Kemenangan tidak harus selalu menjadi juara. Dengan menjalani tugas dengan kesungguhan dan meniatkan diri ibadah mengibarkan panji-panji Unnes, dengan sendirinya Anda akan menjadi pemenang,” kata rektor saat melepas anggota delegasi, Kamis (20/6) pagi tadi, bersama Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Dr Masrukhi.

Rektor memotivasi, kemenangan adalah “hadiah” bagi pribadi yang bserungguh-sungguh. “Dengan niat ibadah beban psikologis Anda akan berkurang, kemenangan pasti akan mengikuti,” lanjut profesor sosiolinguistik ini.

Bunga ke China

Selain melepas delegasi MTQ, Rektor bersama PR III juga melepas Bunga Amelia untuk mengikuti Conference on Pharmaceutical Ingredients (CPHi)  2013 di Shanghai, China. Acara ini akan digelar selama sepakan sejak Minggu 23 Juni hingga Sabtu  Juni 2013 di Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China.

CPHI yang diselenggarakan Borobudur Natural Herbal Industry ini bakal diikuti guru, siswa, dan mahasiswa dari berbagai negara. Selain konferensi, kegiatan berkelas dunia ini akan diisi Seminar dan Showcase 2013, China-World Medical Forum 2013, CPhi China Module Conference 2013, The 8th China Plant Extracts Development and Innovation Forum, 2013 Pharmaceuical Exceptients and Formulation Conference, dan forum pengembangan enzyme Biologi 2013.

Selain menambah wawasan, mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia FMIPA Unnes ini diharapkan menjalin  kerja sama anatara Jurusan Kimia Unnes dengan Borobudur Natural Herbal Industry. Ia juga diharapkan memberikan informasi terkait aplikasi alat-alat laboratorium dan ektraksi bahan-bahan alam.
