Kapolda Jateng Monitoring Tes Narkoba Dan Berikan Kuliah Umum

Dalam rangka mencegah peredaran dan penyalahgunaan narkoba, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melakukan tes urine bagi 6.592 mahasiswa baru angkatan 2017. Kegiatan dimonitoring langsung oleh Kapolda Jateng Irjen Pol Drs Condro Kirono MM MHum didampingi Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Rustono MHum, Sabtu (26/8).

Saat mengunjungi tes narkoba Kapolda berpesan kepada mahasiswa, Jauhi Narkoba, jangan sampai kalian generasi penerus bangsa terjerumus dalam penyalahgunaan narkotika. Karena hal itu akan merusak masa depan kalian semua.

Kegiatan kampus seperti ini bisa menjadi contoh kepada kampus-kampus yang lain. Hal seperti ini salah satu kegiatan dalam penanggulangan kepada mahasiswa, langkah antisipatif yang dilakukan oleh perguruan tinggi dalam upaya pencegahan dan pemberantasan narkoba di kampus.

Mengingat banyaknya jumlah peserta, UNNES bekerja sama dengan kepolisidan Badan Narkotika Nasional. Dalam tes itu, UNNES melibatkan personel dari Kepolisian Daerah (Polda) Jawa Tengah (Jateng), personel dari Badan Narkotika Nasional Jateng (BNNP), personel dari Kepolisian Resor Besar Semarang (Poltabes) dan personel dari Pusat Layanan Kesehatan UNNES.

Kuliah Umum
Setelah acara monitoring Kapolda langsung memberikan Kuliah Umum untuk mahasiswa UNNES dengan tema “Membangun Prestasi dengan Anti Radikalisme dan Anti Narkoba”. Acara yang buka oleh wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Bambang BR ini diikuti oleh 3.000 mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan di UNNES.

Saat memberikan kuliah umum Kapolda banyak menyampaikan tentang bahaya paham radikalisme dan bahaya narkoba.

Ia menyampaikan, Melihat begitu masifnya para pengedar Narkoba hingga menyasar ke Kampus-Kampus , maka Civitas Akademi juga tak mau tinggal diam dan berusaha dengan masif mencegah dan memerangi Narkoba dan menjaga persatuan dengan Kesadaran Bela Negara.

Sementara itu, Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan UNNES Bambang BR menjelaskan, bahwa mahasiswa telah menjadi sasaran pengedar narkoba. Ini adalah peran UNNES dalam mengantisipasi peredaran narkoba di dalam kampus. UNNES akan menerapkan kebijakan tegas bagi pimpinan atau mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam perederan atau mengonsumsi narkoba. Langkah tegas ialah, siapa yang ketahuan mengunakan atau mengedarkan narkoba maka kita akan DO dan serahkan kasusnya ke Kepolisian.

Kedepan, tes narkoba akan dilakukan secara rutin bagi setiap mahasiswa UNNES. Hal tersebut dilakukan sebagai edukasi dan antisipasi penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan civitas akademika kampus UNNES.
