Jurusan Seni Rupa Gelar Pameran Fotografi “Ragam Rana”

Jurusan Seni Rupa FBS UNNES menggelar Pameran Fotografi bertajuk “Ragam Rana”, selasa (2/14) di Museum Ranggawarsita Semarang. Lebih dari 60 karya fotografi yang telah diseleksi ditampilkan dalam pameran ini. Pameran yang digelar hingga tanggal 4 desember 2014 ini, menampilkan karya dari dosen, mahasiswa, dan alumni.

Saat pembukaan pameran semalam, sekretaris jurusan seni rupa Supatmo SPd MHum mengatakan “mahasiswa diharapkan dapat mengekspresikan karya fotografi, menerapkan, dan menekuni fotografi, karena sekarang fotografi sudah menjadi gaya hidup.”

Ketua Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual Rahina Nugrahani SSn MDs menyampaikan fotografi sebagai ilmu terapan dalam bidang seni telah lama menjadi mata kuliah yang ditempuh oleh mahasiwa jurusan Seni Rupa, baik dari prodi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Seni Rupa Murni maupun Desain Komunikasi Visual. Sebagai karya visual yang merekam dan mengabadikan berbagai bentuk dan peristiwa menarik, fotografi menjadi karya seni yang indah dan sarat nilai serta makna.

Karya-karya fotografi yang dihasilkan pun sangat beragam, antara lain fotografi ekspresi (fotografi yang menekankan aspek seni, kreativitas, dan inovasi yang berorientasi pada ekspresi pribadi penciptanya), fotografi komersial (fotografi yang mengarah pada aplikasi kreativitas dan inovasi dalam wujud pelayanan jasa fotografi secara profesional di dunia kerja), serta fotografi jurnalistik (fotografi yang menitikberatkan kreativitas dan inovasi di bidang foto jurnalistik yang profesional, beretika).
