Tradisi Meneliti dan Menulis Meningkat, Jurnal “Kemas” Terakreditasi

Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat Kemas yang diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) Universitas Negeri Semarang kini telah resmi terakreditasi nasional.

Direktorat Jenderal Perguruan Tinggi (Ditjen Dikti) mengumumkan kabar gembira itu melalui Surat Keputusan Nomor 212/P/2014 tanggal 3 Juli 2014 lalu.

Koordinator Pengembang Jurnal Unnes Yasir Alimi PhD mengungkapkan, akreditasi Jurnal Kemas ini menunjukkan adanya kemajuan signifikan dalam bidang akademik. Sebelumnya, Unnes mengantongi akreditas atas Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika Indonesia (JPFI), Jurnal Paramita, dan Jurnal Komunitas.

“Pencapaian ini merupakan sesuatu yang membanggakan bagi Unnes, khususnya budaya menulis dan meneliti di kalangan akademika Unnes dalam upaya mewujudkan Unnes sebagai world class university,” katanya kepada unnes.ac.id.

Ia berharap dengan terakreditasinya satu jurnal ini dapat memicu jurnal-jurnal lain untuk meningkatkan kualitasnya kemudian mengajukan akreditasi tahun 2014 ini.

“Sistem online kita tidak kalah dengan Oxford, Cambridge atau Routledge Journals. Kita akan terus berbenah. Tahapannya sudah jelas,” tegasnya.

Saat ini Unnes Journal, lebih dari 100 ejurnal Unnes dikelola secara online, open access melalui Public Knowledge Project. 20 di antaranya sudah terindex Google Scholar, 4 terindeks DOAJ, dan 3 sudah mendapatkan DOI dari Crossref. Unnes Journals (journal.unnes.ac.id) tiap harinya mendapat 5000 kunjungan.

Segera setelah penerbitan SK Dikti ini, Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum danPembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik Dr. Agus Wahyudin MSi memberikan ucapan selamat kepada pengelola Jurnal Kemas.

“Budaya akademik kita semakin hari semakin baik. Kerja keras tim pengembang jurnal dan para editor menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Mudah-mudahan jurnal-jurnal lain segera menyusul,” kata Prof Fathur.

Sementara itu, editor in Chief Oktia Woro Kasmini Handayani menambahkan, Jurnal Kemas sudah bekerjasama dengan Ikatan Ahli Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia (IAKMI) dan sudah terindex di Google Scholar dan JournalTOCs.

Ia mengundang para peneliti untuk berkontribusi mengirimkan tulisan pada jurnal yang dikelolanya.
