Jaga “Selikuran”, SAR Unnes Siaga di Gunung Sumbing

Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Search and Rescue (SAR) Universitas Negeri Semarang melakukan aksi siaga SAR di Gunung Sumbing, Senin (29/7). Aksi ini dilakukan karena pada hari tersebut ratusan warga berziarah di gunung berketinggian 3.371 mdpl. SAR Unnes bekerja sama dengan Sarda Jateng, PMI, Ubaloka, dan warga setempat.

Tradisi selikuran telah lama dilakukan warga yang tinggal di sekitar Gunung Sumbing, Temanggung. Mereka mengunjungi makam Ki Ageng Makukuhan yang diyakini sebagai orang pertama yang singgah di Kedu dan menanam tembakau.

“Ini kegiatan antisipasi dari kami jika ada pendaki yang mengalami kecelakaan. Sebab medan ke sana cukup sulit,” terang Hermawati, Komandan SAR Unnes.

Tim SAR Unnes bertolak dari ke Gunung Sumbing Minggu (28/07/) pukul 15.30 WIB. Tim yang terdiri dari Hermawati, Dwi Anggoro Saputro, Muhammad Syafii, Ika Novitavya P, Anti Habibatussaumi, Muhammad Ulin Nuha, dan Istiqomah itu langsung menuju Desa Pager. Setelah berkoordinasi dengan SAR Kabupaten Temanggung, mereka kemudian menuju Pos Terminal Gunung Sumbing dan tiba di sana pukul 22.30 WIB.

Tim UKM SAR Unnes melakukan pendataan terhadap pendaki yang naik ke Gunung Sumbing. Selain memeriksa identitas pendaki, tim mencatat keberangkatan, waktu tiba di pos, hingga logistik yang dibawa pendaki.

TIM SAR Unnes dibagi menjadi 3 Pos Penjagaan yaitu Tim I di Aula untuk pendataan dan mobiling Aula-Pos IV, Tim II siaga di Pos IV, dan Tim III mobiling dari Pos IV-Puncak.

Siang (29/07/13) pukul 14.30 WIB Tim I dan II mulai naik untuk penjagaan di sekitar puncak. Menjelang buka puasa Tim Puncak sampai di Pos IV, Tim langsung mendirikan camp, masak untuk berbuka puasa dan membuat perapian untuk menghangatkan badan karena suhu sudah mencapai 8 derajat celsius.,

“Banyak pendaki yang singgah di perapian kami, karena cukup rendahnya suhu dan hembusan angin dari lembahan membuat badan ini semakin membeku. Pukul 21.00 WIB Tim III berangkat menuju Puncak Sumbing, sementara TIM II Stanby di Pos II,” terang Hermawati.

Tim III bertugas untuk memantau keadaan di puncak yaitu sekitar kawah dan petilasan, pada malam 21 Ramadhan tahun ini suasana di sekitar petilasan sangat ramai, puluhan mercon dan kembang api menambah keramaian suasana di Puncak Sumbing, ada sekitar 300 peziarah dari berbagai daerah dan 25 tenda beserta perapian di depannya, kondisi aman terkendali dan suhu terendah -1 derajat Celsius.

Tim berjaga sampai siang (30/07) sekaligus melakukan sweeping dan dipastikan semua pendaki sudah turun. Tim II dan III turun ke Pos Terminal bergabung kembali dengan Tim I dan teman-teman SAR lainnya. Setelah di data ada 181 pendaki lewat jalur Cepit.

    Sekitar jam 16.45 saya menyusul rombongan tim SAR Unes ketika hampir sampai pos 4, mereka 3 orang pemudi dan 1 pemuda (saya lupa namanya). Waktu pulang saya mampir di tenda pos 4 dan ikut membuat kopi dan mi instan rebus di api unggunnya. Saya mendaki sendiri. Terima kasih atas bantuannya. Sampai ketemu lagi
