Jadilah Sosok Menarik dan Disegani

Menghormati orang lain berarti bisa menghargai diri sendiri. Cara menghormati orang lain bukan dengan cara mencari tahu siapa dia tapi bagaimana dia dikenal.

Demikian dikatakan Tuti Srihadi SE MHum, dosen Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) pada Talk Show dalam rangka HUT ke 12 Dharma Wanita Persatuan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) di gedung Rektorat, Kamis (22/12).

Menurutnya, untuk menjadi menarik dan disegani harus ada keseimbangan 3 K atau 3 B, yaitu kepribadian (behaviour), kecerdasan (Brain), dan keindahan (beauty). “Ini harus dimiliki manusia normal ketika kita berinteraksi dengan orang lain,” katanya.

Kepribadian (behaviour), bagaimana kita menerapkan etika dan pengembangan diri sehingga mampu mengenali diri sendiri. Bersikap jujur karena kejujuran akan menunjukkan martabat kita yang ditunjang dengan sikap low profile.

Mampu berpikir cerdas dengan berwawasan luas, namun berpikir cerdas tidak identik dengan pendidikan formalnya. Orang cerdas itu selalu aktif mengasah skill atau mengasah ketrampilan. Jangan pernah malu bertanya dengan aktif bertanya berarti proaktif dalam tindakan.

Wanita dipandang sangat indah, anggun dan cantik bila memakai gaun atau pakaian yang sederhana. Dengan berpenampilan seperti itu, wanita akan terlihat dengan penampilan yang tidak pernah membosankan dan sangat dikagumi, baik yang memandang kaum pria maupun wanita itu sendiri. “Dengan berpenampilan rapi dan sederhana jauh lebih utama daripada penampilan mahal,” tandasnya.

Penampilan merupakan refleksi kepribadian seseorang. Maka dengan berpenampilan apik, rapi, selaras, layak, dan berwibawa wanita akan nampak cantik, menarik dan kharismatik. “Hal itu membuat orang lain menjadi hormat. Dengan menghormati orang lain berarti kita menghormati diri sendiri,” katanya.

Selain itu, cara berbusana dapat menentukan identitas, kepribadian, dan watak seseorang. Maka, sebaiknya berbusana harus sesuai dengan suasana, umur, peran, bentuk badan, waktu, dan norma-norma yang dianut.

Dalam berbicara pun, wanita harus mengedepankan etika.”Berbicara hendaknya menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dengan baik, menggunakan bahasa tubuh yang tepat, luwes dan hindari pembicaraan yang menimbulkan pro dan kontra. Selain itu tidak mendiskreditkan pihak lain, serta jangan memuji atau membanggakan diri sendiri,” pungkasnya.
