Jadi Pembina Apel, Rektor UNNES Dorong Capaian Kinerja FBS

Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman menjadi pembina pada apel pagi di Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS), Senin (16/08), secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom. Apel diikuti wakil rektor, pimpinan fakultas, pengelola jurusan, segenap dosen dan tenaga kependidikan di lingkungan FBS UNNES.

Dalam amanatnya, Prof Fathur menekankan pentingnya mengakselerasi capaian indikator kinerja utama (IKU).

“Hal itu hanya bisa terlaksana jika seluruh civitas akademika memiliki misi yang sejalan, saling mendukung, dan menguatkan. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni juga mesti memaksimalkan kekhasannya untuk memaksimalkan capaian itu,” tutur Prof Fathur.

Menurut Prof Fathur, dosen mesti mampu untuk bersanding dan bersaing pada ranah global.

“Hal itu sejalan dengan visi universitas menjadi univeritas berwawasan konservasi dan bereputasi internasional. Para dosen harus konsisten pada jalur keilmuan dan riset, dan juga berkolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi,” jelas Rektor UNNES.

Selain itu, Prof Fathur menyatakan publikasi menjadi penting sebagai langkah awal kebermanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan. Tanpa dipublikasikan, ilmu tidak tersampaikan kepada publik dan tidak bisa dikembangkan.

“ini patut kita banggakan dalam publikasi ilmiah, hingga kini FBS menghasilkan artikel pada jurnal internasional bereputasi sebanyak 12 judul, pada jurnal internasional sebanyak 9 judul, nasional terakreditasi 4 judul, nasional terindeks DOAJ 46 judul, dan jurnal nasional 15 judul,” jelasnya.

Sementara Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Zaenuri mengatakan setiap jurusan perlu untuk mengakselerasi progres skripsi mahasiswa.

“Meski pada masa pandemi ada kebijakan pelonggaran untuk mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan skripsi hingga semester 15, namun hal itu semestinya bukan menjadi alasan memperpanjang waktu studi. Untuk itu, komunikasi antara dosen dengan mahasiswa terkait progres pembimbingan skripsi perlu ditingkatkan,” kata Prof Zaenuri.

Dekan FBS Dr Sri Rejeki Urip mengatakan pelaksanaan apel secara daring menjadi kewajiban seluruh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan, selain kewajiban untuk mendengarkan lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya dan pembacaan teks Pancasila pada Selasa hingga Jumat. “Hal itu untuk menguatkan rasa nasionalisme dan kebangsaan kita,” ujarnya.
