Isi Seminar Nasional di UNNES, Ditjen PAUD Dikdasmen: Kurikulum Prototipe Jadi Opsi Pembelajaran

Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Pendidikan Dasar dan Pendidikan Menengah Kemendikbud RI Jumeri STP MSi mengatakan sudah satu tahun lebih pandemi COVID-19 terjadi dan berpotensi menimbulkan dampak sosial negatif yang berkepanjangan yang menimbulkan kehilangan pembelajaran (learning loss) literasi dan numerasi yang signifikan.

Untuk itu, pemerintah melalui Kemendikbudristek memberikan dukungan dan pemulihan di masa Pandemi Covid-19, salah satunya dengan menciptakan kurikulum darurat dan kurikulum prototipe menjadi opsi yang dapat dipilih oleh satuan pendidikan, Kamis (3/2).

“Kurikulum darurat merupakan penyederhanaan dari Kurikulum 2013. Kebijakan kurikulum daurat mengurangi dampak negatif pandemi di bidang pembelajaran secara signifikan, yaitu sebesar 73% (literasi) dan 86% (numerasi). Kurikulum prototipe merupakan kurikulum yang lebih fleksibel, sekaligus berfokus pada materi esensial dan pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi murid. Kurikulum prototipe ini sedang diterapkan di sekitar 2.500 sekolah penggerak dan 900 SMK Pusat Keunggulan di berbagai wilayah Indonesia,” jelansya.

Selain itu, Ditjen PAUD Dikdasmen juga menjelaskan sebagai bagian dari mitigasi learning loss, sekolah diberi opsi untuk menggunakan kurikulum yang disederhanakan agar dapat berfokus pada penguatan karakter dan kompetensi mendasar.

“Siswa pengguna Kurikulum Darurat mendapat capaian belajar yang lebih baik daripada pengguna Kurikulum 2013 secara penuh, terlepas dari latar belakang sosio-ekonominya. Survei pada 18.370 siswa kelas 1-3 SD di 612 sekolah di 20 kab/kota dari 8 provinsi (April-Mei 2021) menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara Kurikulum 2013 dan Kurikulum Darurat”.

Lanjut, kurikulum prototipe diberikan sebagai opsi tambahan bagi satuan pendidikan untuk melakukan pemulihan pembelajaran selama 2022-2024. Kebijakan kurikulum nasional akan dikaji ulang pada 2024 berdasarkan evaluasi selama masa pemulihan pembelajaran.

“Kurikulum prototipe mendorong pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa, serta memberi ruang lebih luas pada pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi dasar,” ucapnya.

Lebih lanjut, kurikulum prototipe dapat mendukung pemulihan pembelajaran melalui pembelajaran berbasis projek untuk pengembangan soft skills dan karakter, fokus pada materi esensial sehingga ada waktu cukup untuk pembelajaran yang mendalam bagi kompetensi dasar seperti literasi dan numerasi, dan fleksibilitas bagi guru untuk melakukan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kemampuan murid (teach at the right level) dan melakukan penyesuaian dengan konteks dan muatan lokal, pungkasnya.
