Persiapkan Tingkat Nasional, Paduan Suara Unnes Gelar Pre Competition

Untuk mempersiapkan lomba paduan suara mahasiswa tingkat nasional ke XXIV yang akan diselenggarakan Institut Teknologi Bandung, 26 Januari – 1 Februari 2015, Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Paduan Suara Voice of Conservation (VOC) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar pre competition, Senin (12/1) di gedung B6 FBS kampus Sekaran.

Dalam sambutannya, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Unnes Prof Masrukhi MPd berkali-kali memuji UKM Paduan Suara itu, “Unnes bangga memiliki tim paduan suara yang luar biasa, dan  sudah banyak prestasi yang ditorehkan. Mudah-mudahan dalam festival tingkat nasional nanti, tim Unnes meraih yang terbaik, juara 1 tingkat nasional, tandasnya.”

Undangan yang hadir sekaligus memberi penilaian dan masukan atas penampilan Paduan suara VOC Unnes yakni Pembantu Rektor III, Pembantu Dekan III FBS, FIS, FE, dan Kepala Biro BAPK serta alumni seni musik Unnes yang sekaligus senior ahli paduan suara dan musik. Selain itu, tim paduan suara Fakultas Ekonomi juga hadir sekaligus tampil memeriahkan malam pre competition festival padus.

Masukan menggigit yang menjadi catatan bagi tim paduan suara agar tampil memukau, “dewan juri dan penonton yakni harus menunjukkan kejutan kejutan klimak, jangan terkesan datar-datar saja, vokal harus benar dan power suaranya harus lebih bagus jangan biasa biasa saja,” tutur Herman alumni seni musik Unnes.

Sementara itu, Pembina UKM Paduan Suara Drs Eko Raharjo MHum menuturkan, paduan suara Mahasiswa VOC Unnes dinyatakan lolos dalam babak seleksi rekaman untuk kategori lagu rakyat Indonesia, masuk 15 besar tingkat nasional. Untuk memaksimalkan penampilan tim padus saat lomba nanti, kita menggelar pre competition ini dengan tujuan agar mendapatkan masukan, dan saran yang membangun dari berbagai pihak.

“Untuk festival di ITB nanti kita akan menampilkan 2 lagu rakyat dengan judul romo ono maling dan anoman kobong, dengan jumlah peserta paduan suara sebanyak 40 mahasiswa, mohon doanya kita dapat meraih yang terbaik, ” pungkasnya.
