Ingin Masuk Unnes, Siswa SMA 1 Warureja Audiensi Langsung

Apakah masuk Unnes harus cinta pertama atau yang memilih pilihan pertama?
Apakah bahasa asing sebagai syarat masuk Unnes?
Berapa usia maksimal di terima Unnes?

Sederet pertanyaan itu diajukan oleh Farikha, Priyantini, dan Agus, siswa SMAN 1 Warureja Tegal saat berkunjung ke Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Senin (21/4) di rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Rombongan dipimpin Wakil Kepala Sekolah M Faris Zakaria diterima kepala Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Kerjasama (BAAKK) Drs Heri Kismaryono MM dan Kabag Pendidikan Drs Mulyadi MM di Rektorat kampus Sekaran.

Sederet pertanyaan itu, Heri kismaryono mengatakan, Unnes memang menerima atau memilih cinta pertama yang diutamakan, namun cinta kedua juga penuh kemungkinan diterima menjadi mahasiswa Unnes. Karena pada penerimaan mahasiswa baru lewat jalur pertama yakni Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN) berdasarkan nilai ujian nasional, raport, dan prestasi.

Sedangkan bahasa asing, tidak harus sebagai persyaratan, apabila mempunyai sertifikat bahasa asing itu mempunyai poin tersendiri sebagai prestasi. Pelajaran bahasa asing kan sudah diajaran sejak SD, apalagi sebagai mahasiswa bahasa asing sangat diperlukan sekali. Bahkan mahasiswa Unnes juga praktek pengalaman lapangan (PPL) ke luar negeri seperti mahasiswa bahasa arab ke Turki, 10 mahasiswa bahasa jepang ke Jepang, dan ke malaysia.

Untuk masuk Unnes, kata Heri Kismaryono umur itu relatif karena penerimaan mahasiswa baru di Unnes melalui tiga jalur yakni jalur SNMPTN diperuntukkan khusus kelas XII SMA/sederajat atau yang belum lulus. Sedangkan jalur Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN), dan Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Unnes (SPMU) diperuntukkan siswa yang sudah lulus sekurang-kurangnya 3 tahun (2012, 2013, dan 2014).

Selain menjawab pertanyyan itu, Heri Kismaryono juga memaparkan profil Unnes diantaranya Unnes mempunyai 56 Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM), bermacam-macam beasiswa termasuk Bidikmisi. Juga menyampaikan pendaftar Unnes 2014 ini melalui jalur SNMPTN Unnes menempati urutan ke 6 perguruan tinggi se-Indonesia dan urutan pertama eks IKIP se-Indonesia.
