Ikuti PPL Internasional, UNNES Berangkatkan 56 Mahasiswa ke Sembilan Negara

Sebanyak 3.990 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) dilepas untuk mengikuti Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) di sejumlah sekolah mitra yang tersebar diberbagai daerah dan negara.

Pelepasan dilakukan oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Rustono MHum pada Kamis (26/7), bertempat di halaman Rektorat UNNES Kampus Sekaran.

Prof Rustono melepas 3.990 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 3.527 mahasiswa Program Sarjana Kependidikan S1, dan 463 mahasiswa Program Profesi Guru (PPG).

Dari Program Sarjana Kependidikan S1, terdapat 56 mahasiswa yang akan melaksanakan PPL Internasional di Sembilan Negara.

Kesembilan negara tersebut meliputi Perancis, Belgia, Nepal, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Filipina, Singapura, dan Malaysia.

PPL Internasional diikuti oleh mahasiswa yang tersebar di 19 Program Studi, dengan peserta terbanyak merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK).

Sementara, PPL dalam negeri melibatkan 329 sekolah mitra yang tersebar di sepuluh Kabupaten/Kota di tiga provinsi yakni Jawa Tengah, DKI Jakarta, dan Bali.

Dalam arahannya, Prof Rustono berharap, mahasiswa mampu menunjukkan kepribadian yang baik dan menjadi teladan sebagai calon pendidik nantinya.

“Kegiatan PPL merupakan salah satu rangkaian proses yang harus diikuti untuk menjadi seorang guru yang profesional. Tunjukkan Saudara adalah calon guru yang berkualitas, calon guru profesional yang lahir dari UNNES,” ungkapnya.

Ia menambahkan, dengan adanya peserta PPL Internasional ini, merupakan langkah maju bagi UNNES yang sesuai dengan visi UNNES yakni Universitas Berwawasan Konservasi dan Bereputasi Internasional.

“Anda semua merupakan duta dari Indonesia, lebih khusus dari UNNES, untuk itu jagalah pergaulan di negera tempat anda PPL dan jangan ikut-ikutan berpolitik, fokuslah pada pembelajaran,” pesannya.

Menurut Kepala Pusat Pengembangan PPL dan Inovasi Pembelajaran Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) UNNES Dr Isnarto MSi, mahasiswa Program Sarjana Kependidikan S1 akan melaksanakan PPL sejak 30 Juli hingga 14 September 2018, sementara kegiatan PPL bagi mahasiswa PPG akan dimulai sejak 30 Juli dan berakhir pada 9 November 2018.

“Tema PPL tahun ini adalah PPL UNNES Berkarakter. Melalui tema ini, diharapkan mampu menjadi pengikat dan pengingat bagi mahasiswa peserta PPL untuk senantiasa menjunjung tinggi karakter konservasi yang telah dicanangkan oleh UNNES,” jelasnya.

Selain pejabat dilingkungan Universitas Negeri Semarang, PPL juga dihadiri oleh seluruh koordinator Dosen Pembimbing yang akan mendampingi pelaksanaan PPL di tiap sekolah mitra.
