Baru 29% Sekolah di Jateng Mendaftar SNMPTN Undangan

Meski pendaftaran Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi (SNMPTN) Jalur Undangan sudah dibuka sebulan lebih,  bahkan tinggalsembilan hari lagi,  baru 780 SMA/MA/SMK di Jawa Tengah yang melakukan pendaftaran. Angka ini terbilang rendah jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah keseluruhan sekolah jenjang tersebut di provinsi, yakni sebanyak 2.684.

“Hingga Kamis 3 Maret  ini, yang tercatat memang baru segitu,” ungkap Sekretaris Panitia Lokal 42 Semarang Prof Wiyanto.

Jika dipersentase, lanjut Guru Besar  FMIPA Unnes itu, sekolah di Jateng yang mendaftar baru 29,1 %. “Jika dilihat lagi per kabupaten/kota, pendaftar terbanyak dari Kabupaten Kudus, yakni 43,84%. Sebaliknya, Kabupaten Demak berada pada urutan terendah dengan persentase 17,74%,” katanya.

Meski demikian, pihaknya memaklumi jika masih banyak sekolah yang belum mendaftarkan siswanya pada SNMPTN Jalur Undangan yang notabene terintegrasi pula dengan pendaftaran Beasiswa Bidik Misi. “Mungkin saja sekolah masih disibukkan dengan try-out dan tes semester,” ungkap Pembantuu Dekan Bidang Akademik FMIPA itu.

Dia berharap, sebelum batas akhir pendaftaran 12 Maret mendatang,  target 100% sekolah di Jateng mendaftar lewat jalur tersebut dapat terpenuhi. “Bersamaan dengan itu, kami terus-menerus melakukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan bagi sekolah-sekolah yag membutuhkan. Apalagi, di Unnes saja, 80% beasiswa Bidik Misi akan disalurkan kepada pendaftar lewat Jalur Undangan,” katanya.

Karena itu, dia berharap siswa berprestasi yang berhak mendaftar jalur tersebut tidak dirugikan hanya karena kelalaian atau ketidaktahuan sekolah. “Bagaimanapun itu hak mereka. Sayang sekali jika sekolah tidak mendaftarkan dan siswa kehilangan kesempatan,” tutur Prof Wiyanto.

Prof Wiyanto juga mencatat, dari 780 sekolah di Jateng yang sudah melakukan pendaftaran, sedikitnya 1.000 siswa kelas XII SMA/MA/SMK telah menjatuhkan pilihan ke Unnes untuk program Beasiswa Bidik Misi. “Mereka akan bersaing untuk memperebutkan 450 paket beasiswa yang menjadi kuota bagi Unnes pada tahun ini,” katanya.

    kalau snmptn undangan, saya tidak lolos 75% di kelas, tp saya ingin sekali masuk unnes lwat jalur tersebut, apa saya masih bisa ikut snmptn undangan untuk unnes, mohon d balas, terima kasih

    tapi saya harus membiayainya sendiri,,,, apakah selain dari snmptn ada program lain supaya dapat beasiswa untuk orang kurang mampu seperti sya???

      Saudara Aldhea, Unnes akan mengadakan ujian mandiri (Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Unnes/SPMU). Pendaftaran SPMU mulai 1 Juli 2011. Salam.
