Hadapi Perubahan Kurikulum, Magister PAUD UNNES Ekspose Riset di SUSS Singapura

Perubahan kurikulum merupakan tantangan bagi guru, tak terkecuali bagi guru (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) PAUD. Untuk menghadapi tantangan ini, Prodi Magister PAUD Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan ekspose riset bersama (joint research-expose) di Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) pada 29 November 2023.

Hal ini didasari atas komitmen kedua negara untuk menggerakkan layanan PAUD yang makin terpadu dan sama-sama mengembangkan studi pascasarjana PAUD.

Tim riset mahasiwa UNNES yang terdiri dari Nilamsari Putri dan Faiz Ridwan, memaparkan riset tentang kontribusi regulasi-diri dan motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan guru menghadapi perubahan kurikulum.

Pada ekpose itu, Ketua Master PAUD SUSS, Profesor Sum Che Wah menggarisbawahi sektor PAUD Singapura yang semakin terintegrasi. Sementara delegasi Magister PAUD UNNES, Ali Formen dan Edi Waluyo, memaparkan lansekap PAUD dan studi pascasarjana PAUD di Indonesia.

Ekpose ini adalah bagian dari Asian Study Tour Magister PAUD 2023. Delegasi terdiri atas 50 mahasiswa dan tiga pendamping. Mereka juga mengunjungi lima pusat PAUD yang SUSS rekomendasikan.

“Harapannya, mahasiwa yang juga pendidik PAUD, dapat melihat langsung praktik PAUD Singapura yang telah mereka baca di berbagai publikasi”, terang Ali Formen.

“Selama kami belajar tentang PAUD Singapura dari membaca. Tadi di sini kita melihatnya secara nyata”, kata Che Nur yang mengunjungi Little Skool House at the Republic Polytechnic.

Dalam kesempatan ini, mahasiswa juga mengembangkan jejaring baru pertemanan akademik dan professional mereka. Selain dosen dan staff, SUSS juga menghadirkan mahasiswa dan alumni.

“Kami senang dibagi ke sejumlah roundtable groups. Tadi saya banyak bicara dengan Ms Aida, dan kita berjanji berbuat sesuatu bersama di masa depan” kata Putri optimis.

Kegiatan Ekspose diakhiri dengan penandatanganan dokumen kesepahaman awal antara Koordinator Magister PAUD UNNES dan Ketua Master PAUD SUSS. Harapannya, melalui kesepahaman awal dapat mendorong pertukaran pengetahuan, staf dan mahasiswa di antara kedua program studi.
