Guru PAUD Se-Kota Semarang ikuti Workshop Olahraga dan Permainan Tradisional di Labschool UNNES

Bertempat di Labschool Unnes, Jl. Menoreh Tengah X No.4, Sampangan, Semarang, guru-guru PAUD se-Kota Semarang mengikuti workshop olahraga dan permainan tradisional, Sabtu (12/8).  Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 40 guru PAUD, yang mewakili 16 kecamatan di Kota Semarang. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yakni pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Temanya adalah “Sosialisasi Olahraga dan Permainan Tradisional untuk guru-guru PAUD se-Kota Semarang.”

Kegiatan tersebut terselenggara atas kerjasama antara Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (FIK) UNNES dengan Komunitas Olahraga Tradisional Indonesia (KOTI) dan Labschool Unnes sebagai sekolah mitra. Sosialisasi disampaikan oleh tim dosen FIK UNNES, Dr Tommy Soenyoto SPd MPd selaku ketua program, Dwi Gansar Santi Wijayanti SPd, dan Agus Widodo Suripto SPd MPd serta Khairul Umam, perwakilan dari Komunitas Olahraga Tradisional Indonesia (KOTI) pusat.

Menurut Khairul Umam, Sekjen KOTI pusat, yang melatar belakangi dibentuknya KOTI adalah karena kegelisahan mulai punahnya olaharaga dan permainan tradisional, ruang bermain anak-anak sempit, serta banyak anak kekurangan gerak. Sehingga dia ingin mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk kembali membangkitkan gairah permainan tradisional ini.

“Ada tiga hal dapat kita lakukan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, pertama penggalian, yaitu menggali dan mendata permainan tradisional yang ada di Indonesia ini berapa banyak, lalu kita rekonstruksi. Kedua Pembakuan, dengan cara menentukan permainan tradisional mana yang bisa dijadikan olahraga yang mendunia dan permainan tradisional mana yang bisa dijadikan media pembelajaran di sekolah. Ketiga Pelestarian, yaitu sosialisasi, workshop, mengadakan lomba-lomba, serta pameran di car free day ataupun di sekolah-sekolah” jelasnya.

Salah satu cara yang ditempuh adalah dengan mengadakan workshop penerapan olahraga dan permainan tradisional untuk guru PAUD. Dalam kegiatan workshop kali ini, peserta diberikan materi tentang kebijakan dan ruang lingkup olahraga permainan tradisional serta praktik permainan tradisional untuk pembelajaran penumbuh kembangan karakter anak. Setelah itu, peserta dibagi kedalam 10 kelompok. Masing-masing kelompok harus mempresentasikan satu jenis permainan tradisional yang bisa dimainkan oleh murid-murid PAUD. Kegiatan diakhiri dengan simulasi beberapa olahraga tradisional yang sudah dibakukan antara lain egrang, gobak sodor/hadang dan bakiak.

Menurut Santi, salah satu dosen PJKR UNNES, olahraga dan permainan tradisional ini sangat penting sekali bagi anak, karena dapat menjadi media penanaman karakter anak.

“Dengan adanya kegiatan semacam ini, kita ingin munculkan dan mengembangkan lagi. Mulai dari jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini. Kemudian berlanjut ke jenjang berikutnya” tuturnya.

Masirotul Khairiyah, salah satu peserta workshop dari TK Pertiwi 40 Kecamatan Tugu, merasa bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan ini, karena pembawa materinya interaktif dan juga implementatif, disertai contoh dan penerapannya.

“Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat. Saya akan mempraktikkan olahraga dan permainan tradisional ini di TK saya.” pungkasnya.
