Gubernur: Kerja Sama dengan Unnes, Lingkungan Oke, Budaya Oke

Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo kembali menyatakan dukungan untuk Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) agar terus berkembang menjadi universitas kebanggaan masyarakat Jawa Tengah. Ia menilai, ciri khas konservasi yang telah melekat pada Unnes adalah pembeda yang unik sekaligus keunggulan yang perlu dikembangkan.

“Konservasi itu diferensiasi yang sangat unik. Ini pembeda sekaligus keunggulan. Harapan menjadikan Unnes sebagai universitas internasional, itu keniscayaan,” kata Ganjar dalam audiensi bersama Rektor Unnes di kantornya, Selasa (28/1).

Ganjar menambahkan, Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Tengah akan terus membuka pintu berbagai kemungkinan kerja sama dengan Unnes.  Lantaran Unnes kini sedang prioritas pada upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan produk budaya, kerja sama di dua bidang itu lah yang paling memungkinkan.

“Bidang lingkungan oke, bidang kultural juga oke,” kata Ganjar pada pertemuan yang juga dihadiri Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Tengah Drs Nurhadi Amiyanto MEd.

Sebelumnya, Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum menyampaikan sejumlah agenda Dies Natalis Unnes ke 49. Selain itu, kerja sama Unnes dengan Pemprov Jawa Tengah dalam penyelenggaraan Sinden Idol direncanakan akan dilanjutkan.

“Kita juga akan bekerja sama dengan Dirjen Kebudayaan. Jangkauan Sinden Idol berikutnya akan lebih luas, yakni se-Jawa,” kata Rektor.

Dies Natalis Unnes akan dibuka Rabu (29/1) esok dan puncaknya pada Sabtu (29/3) mendatang. Sejumlah agenda telah dirancang dalam rangkaian Dies Natalis itu. Pembukaan sendiri dipastikan meriah karen diisi jalan sehat keluarga besar Unnes sekaligus sajian Tarian Kolosal Gatra Nirmala.
