Gondoriyo Goes to School Demi Peningkatan Kreativitas dan Karakter Anak-anak Desa Gondoriyo

Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Alternatif 2B Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) di Desa Gondoriyo, Kecamatan Bergas, Kabupaten Semarang melaksanakan salah satu program kerja unggulan melalui pelatihan kolase dari biji karet. Mereka pula berupaya menanamkan nilai karakter anak-anak melalui cerita-cerita edukasi, Kamis (10/10).

Perilaku Pendidikan merupakan aspek yang sangat penting bagi suatu daerah. Hal itu akan meningkatkan kualitas hidup, terutama di Desa Gondoriyo. Sebagai pendukung hal tersebut Desa Gondoriyo memiliki beberapa lembaga pendidikan formal meliputi dua Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan satu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), tiga Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK), dan satu Pendidikan Usia Dini (PAUD).

Farid salah satu guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Dusun Krajan sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan ini, karena sebelumnya belum pernah ada yang menggunakan potensi biji karet. Serta cerita edukasi menggunakan alat peraga sebagai media peningkatan kreativitas anak. Sebagai catatan beliau menyampaikan perlunya pengolahan yang cukup lama agar aman dikonsumsi dan terhindar dari keracunan.

Lembaga pendidikan merupakan sarana untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar anak-anak Desa Gondoriyo. Namun, setelah jam pelajaran formal, ternyata masih kurang aktualisasi pentingnya belajar di luar jam sekolah. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, Desa Gondoriyo memiliki program di dalam Peraturan Desa mengenai jam belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tim KKN UNNES membuat program untuk melengkapi jam belajar siswa melalui GGS (Gondoriyo Goes to School).

Melalui arahan dan bimbingan dari Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL), Prof Dr Murbangun Nuswowati MSi dan Kepala Desa Gondoriyo, Arisno, Tim KKN terjun di 3 sekolah Desa Gondoriyo.

Koordinator Mahasiswa KKN Alternatif 2B Desa Gondoriyo, Agrota Shoit menegaskan bahwa program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan softskill anak-anak Desa Gondoriyo. Kebetulan warga sekitar  melihat biji karet sebagai konsumsi semata. Program ini iharapkan dapat menumbuhkan bakat dalam bidang akademik maupun non akademik melalui pembuatan kerajinan dari pemanfaatan biji pohon karet. Selain peningkatkan kreativitas, program GGS  juga sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan rasa cinta anak-anak pada bangsa, khususnya rasa cinta pada Desa Gondoriyo yang memiliki berbagai kebudayaan yang melimpah.
