Ganjar: Aja Mung Nyalahke, Basa Jawa Bisa Lestari

Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo memberikan kuliah kepada mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Fakultas bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). Acara bertajuk Mas Ganjar Mulang Basa Jawa itu berlangsung di ruang bundar Dekanat FBS kampus Sekaran, Rabu (20/4).

Selain mulang, Ganjar juga meluncurkan Kamus Jawa-Indonesia Indonesia-Jawa Berbasis Android yang merupakan hasil pengembangan Nuring Dyah Rahmadani, mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Jawa FBS Unnes ketika menyususn skripsi beberapa waktu lalu, “Ini inovasi yang menantang zaman. Saya dukung sepenuhnya untuk pengembangan bahasa Jawa,” kata Ganjar.

inovasi tersebut, menurut Ganjar patut dilanjutkan dan diikuti oleh segenap pihak yang peduli terhadap keberlangsungan bahasa Jawa. “Aja mung nyalahke, nanging kudu melu urun supaya basa Jawa bisa lestari,” katanya.

Menurut Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman, Unnes terus berkomitmen dan konsisten menjadi Universitas Konservasi. “Selain konservasi lingkungan Unnes juga melakukan konservasi Hebat yaitu, Hijau, Bersih dan Sehat. Konservasi budaya juga tetap terjaga, “ katanya

    Bahasa Jawa adalah bahasa dengan penutur sekitar 84,3 juta di seluruh dunia, dan ini merupakan bahasa dengan jumlah penutur terbanyak ke 11 di dunia (ethnologue.com). Hal ini sangat membanggakan dan tentu masih banyak sekali potensi yang bisa digali dari Bahasa Jawa.
