LABORATORY STRUCTURE
The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program provides adequate educational facilities regarding teachers, facilities in the building, and the relationships offered. For research and teaching purposes, the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program has 5 laboratories, namely:
Production Laboratory |
The Production Laboratory in the UNNES Department of Mechanical Engineering is a learning support facility that focuses on manufacturing process practices. This laboratory is equipped with various machines such as lathes, grinding machines, milling machines and CNC machines. With this equipment, students can learn machining, assembly techniques and modern manufacturing technology to support competency in the field of mechanical engineering. |
Material Testing Laboratory |
The Material Testing Lab in Building E5, Faculty of Engineering, UNNES, is a practical and research space designed to analyze and test various types of materials. This lab is a center for activities for students, lecturers and researchers in studying material properties, ranging from strength, durability, to microstructure. The equipment available in this lab includes tensile testing machines, compression testing machines, hardness testing equipment, optical microscopes, and other devices that support comprehensive material analysis. |
Construction Laboratory |
The Construction Laboratory in Building E5, Semarang State University (UNNES) is one of the superior facilities owned by the Mechanical Engineering Study Program. This laboratory is designed to support students’ practical activities in the field of welding and construction, so that they can apply the theory they have learned in a practical context. |
Machine Performance Laboratory |
The Machine Performance Test Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Semarang State University (UNNES) is a facility designed to measure and analyze the performance of various types of machines. This laboratory is included in the superior facilities owned by the UNNES Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program.
