UNNES Faculty of Engineering Distributes Iftar to Students, a Real Action of SDG 2

The inaugural 2026 Faculty of Engineering Iftar began on February 27, 2026, at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNNES Dean’s Office. This is a program of the BSO RISTEK (Research and Technology Agency). It will be held again on March 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2026. A total of 400 Iftar boxes were distributed to students, and this second year of the Faculty of Engineering Iftar received an enthusiastic and positive response from the students.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T., and his staff were present at the inaugural Iftar distribution, which took place at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNNES Dean’s Office. He expressed his delight that the entire Faculty of Engineering family was able to share some of their wealth with students, in this case through Iftar. The 2026 Faculty of Engineering Iftar event is a real action of SDG 2 (Zero Hunger).

This initiative aims not only to share blessings during the holy month of Ramadan but also to strengthen the bond between the academic community and the surrounding community. This reflects UNNES’ ongoing commitment to promoting social responsibility and cultivating a culture of caring within its academic community.
