Worldwide Reputation: 3 Undergraduate Programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Achieve ASIIN International Accreditation

September 3, 2025 – Three undergraduate study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) have received ASIIN international accreditation, which is valid until September 30, 2030. The three programs are:

Mechanical Engineering Education

Automotive Engineering Education

Chemical Engineering

With the international accreditation achieved by these three programs, the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNNES has enhanced its reputation globally, in line with its vision of becoming a World-Reputable University. This achievement also aligns with SDG 4 (Quality of Education), as learning at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNNES has achieved international accreditation, utilizing international-standard facilities and infrastructure and accepting several international students. This is the initial step to make all FT UNNES undergraduate study programs internationally accredited, which has been initiated by the PTIK (Informatics and Computer Engineering Education) undergraduate study program by AQAS, and 3 undergraduate study programs in Mechanical Engineering Education, Automotive Engineering Education, and Chemical Engineering by ASIIN.
