Universitas Negeri Semarang > Faculty of Engineering > Fakultas Teknik > Socialization of Prevention and Handling of Violence at FT UNNES

Socialization of Prevention and Handling of Violence (PPK) at the Faculty of Engineering UNNES on June 3, 2025 at Graha Cendekia, building E2 FT UNNES. The activity was opened directly by the Dean of FT UNNES Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T. and continued with socialization from the UNNES PPK Task Force Team. Based on the Decree of the UNNES Rector No. T / 47 / UN37 / HK.02 / 2025, the UNNES Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS) has now officially changed its name to the UNNES Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPK).

This change is in line with Permendikbudristek No. 55 of 2024 which expands the scope of prevention and handling of violence in higher education. The UNNES PPK Task Force is committed to continuing to create a safe campus environment free from all forms of violence.

The Dean of FT UNNES in his speech said that this socialization is important so that there are no cases of violence in the Faculty of Engineering UNNES, and also the hope is that there are no victims or perpetrators because if there are lecturers who are perpetrators of violence, they will receive sanctions in stages. “In all conditions of time and place, do not ever commit or try violence against fellow lecturers, education staff, or students because it will have a huge impact on the victims,” he said.

This activity is also included in SDG 16, namely Peace, Justice, and Resilient Institutions. By reducing violence, increasing access to justice, and increasing protection of human rights in the Faculty of Engineering environment, SDG 16 can be achieved. In a global context, this goal emphasizes the importance of transparent, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
