FT UNNES Establishes International Collaboration with KICT International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)

The Faculty of Engineering, Semarang State University (FT UNNES) has established an international collaboration with the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in a series of activities on May 21-23, 2025, including a Guest Lecture by Dr.-Ing. Dhidik Prastiyanto, S.T., M.T., who discussed the latest topic of Adaptive Cruise Control for Autonomous Vehicles. This guest lecture discussed intelligent control algorithms for driverless vehicles and attracted high enthusiasm from students.

Dr.-Ing. Dhidik Prastiyanto, S.T., M.T. and Team: Strengthening Digital Literacy and Utilization of Positive Internet for the Digitally Intelligent Generation.
Dr. Sri Handayani, M.Pd. and Team: Development of Audio Visual Learning Media Based on Generative Artificial Intelligence.
Rusiyanto, S.Pd., M.T. and Team: Innovation in Science Learning Through Welding Experiments.
Dr. Harianingsih, S.T., M.T. and Team: Improving Ecoprint Skills of Pounding Technique.

This collaboration reflects UNNES’s spirit in building global networks and real contributions to society through science, technology, and ethics. This activity is also part of UNNES’s commitment to becoming an internationally reputable campus.

This activity is also included in SDG 4 Quality Education and SDG 17 Partnership to Achieve Goals. This is in line with UNNES’ Vision, namely a World-Reputed University and Pioneer of Educational Excellence, thus making UNNES increasingly participate in education and partnerships on a global scale.
