The Integrated Engineering Festival (GTT) in the framework of the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering UNNES was successfully held on May 16, 2025 at the E9 field of FT UNNES, attended directly by the Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors, Lecturers and Education Staff and enlivened by FT UNNES Students.
The event began with a typical Semarang dance then continued with the Rector’s speech represented by Vice Chancellor III Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Sc. and Dean of FT UNNES Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T. and was symbolically opened by the Vice Chancellors by flying a dove which means freedom of thought in line with engineering students who are always creative in all aspects, both academic and non-academic.
Dean of FT Unnes Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T. emphasized the importance of active student involvement in various campus activities.
“Student activities must continue, because through activities like this students learn to communicate, become leaders, and manage an event. God willing, all of you will have a successful future, with one condition that you must graduate on time,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector III UNNES Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Sc. is an important momentum to showcase the achievements and potential of the FT UNNES academic community.
“This is a momentum to showcase various achievements, innovations and creativity from students, lecturers and educators from the Faculty of Engineering UNNES,” he said.
The invited guests toured each LKBSO FT UNNES exhibition stand which had prepared very well the work that would be exhibited, not only that, the excitement of the 2025 FT UNNES GTT also featured a parade from all elements of LKBSO FT UNNES which was symbolically opened by Vice Rector IV Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T. IPM. which was marked by raising the flag with Fera Utnita as the head of BEM FT UNNES.
At the end of the event, there was a door prize distribution from the FT UNNES Dean’s Cup which has been running since May 3, 2025, the awarding of the champion’s trophies was handed over directly by the Dean of FT UNNES. In this case, Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T. greatly appreciated the hard work of the FT UNNES LKBSO students, hopefully they can continue the excitement of the Integrated Engineering Festival every year.
