Thursday (18/5/2023) the PKK (Family Welfare Education) Department, Faculty of Engineering, Semarang State University successfully held the 2023 Work Degree event with the theme “Elevating the Existence of Indigenous Central Java Heritage”. The event was held on Wednesday, 17 May 2023 online via Zoom Meeting and Live Streaming on the PKK Department’s Youtube. The Work Degree in 2023 features works from 4 (four) study programs in the PKK Department, namely Fashion Education, Beauty Education, Culinary Education, and Family Welfare Education.

Fashion Design Education Co-Exist Fashion in Central Java Heritage

The Degree of Work for the Bachelor of Fashion Education study program carries a theme that is based on the 2023/2024 Trend Forecasting “Co-Exist” by collaborating some of Indonesia’s wealth, especially the Central Java region. City icons that are selected and made with various techniques will produce unique and high-quality works.

Family Welfare Education Co-Exist Craft & Traditional Food in Central Java Heritage

The work title of the Family Welfare Education S1 study program carries the theme “Growing Creative and Innovative with the Heritage of Central Java”. Popularizing creativity and innovation of handicraft products and pastries created through the use of various abundant resources in Central Java as cultural heritage.

Co-Exist Beauty Education in Central Java Heritage

The Master of Beauty Education Study Program carries the theme of brides from various cities and regencies in Central Java which were developed with the ideas and creativity of students without leaving behind the wealth and characteristics of each region that is carried.

Co-Exist Culinary Culinary Education in Central Java Heritage

The Degree of Work for the Undergraduate Culinary Education study program carries the theme Culinary Innovation on the Heritage of Central Java Regional Snacks, both sweet and salty in taste. Innovation is applied to certain aspects so as to improve quality and taste without changing the true identity or characteristics of the snack.
