Menindaklanjuti kerjasama antara Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan Nasmoco Semarang, hari ini (Rabu, 20 November 2019) Bengkel Bangkit milik Fakultas Teknik yang terletak di Jalan Sekaran Raya kembali dibuka dan diresmikan. Kegiatan soft launching ini dihadiri oleh segenap Pimpinan Fakultas Teknik dan Pengelola Jurusan serta perwakilan Pimpinan Nasmoco Semarang.

Sebagai informasi, dibukanya kembali Bengkel Bangkit tersebut nantinya akan dikelola oleh para mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Mesin. Dukungan penuh diberikan oleh Nasmoco Semarang dalam merealisasikan soft launching Bengkel Bangkit. Nantinya, dalam hal pelayanan kepada para customer akan dinaungi langsung oleh pihak Nasmoco sehingga kualitas yang diberikan akan sama. Dalam hal ini, Bapak M. Syafruddin Ma’ruf yang akan bertindak sebagai Kepala Bengkel dari pihak Nasmoco .

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Bapak Hendra Candrawan selaku Pimpinan Nasmoco dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa Nasmoco sebagai perwakilan dari pihak Toyota selalu mendukung penuh upaya-upaya yang dilakukan guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tanah air. Selanjutnya, Dekan Fakultas Teknik, Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak Nasmoco atas kesediaannya merealisasikan kerjasama ini.

Bengkel Bangkit akan menjadi salah satu icon service JIMAT (Jitu dan Hemat) yang setiap tahunnya diselenggarakan oleh pihak Himpro Teknik Mesin. Dalam hal pelayanan, Bengkel Bangkit menerima segala jenis merk mobil, tidak hanya Toyota saja. Selain itu, tepat disamping Bengkel Bangkit juga didirikan laboratorium untuk BSO Creativity & Research Club (CRC) sebagai motor penggerak riset-riset mobil hemat energi yang setiap tahunnya dikompetisikan pada Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE) ditingkat nasional.
