Mochamad Khoirudin pria yang biasa dipanggil MoKho itu mendapat nominasi Best Delegates Kategori The Most Helpful pada acara program mengajar anak-anak TKI di Klang, Malaysia. Dia berkesempatan mengikuti conference budaya pada bulan Agustus di Negara Jepang.

Pria yang berasal dari prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro angkatan 2015 ini membawakan teknik mengajar berbasis problem solving yang dikombinasikan dengan permainan anak. Tujuan dari program ini adalah meningkatkan rasa nasionalisme anak-anak yang notabene minim pengetahuan tentang indonesia.

Kegiatan tersebut diawali dengan menghadiri “Indonesia Archipelago Expedition” yang diselenggarakan oleh Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia Kuala Lumpur beserta rekan. Selain mendapat buah tangan, peserta juga berkesempatan untuk bertemu Staf Kedutaan, Menteri, Investor, dan Pengusaha Exportir. Setelah itu delegasi meluncur ke Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) untuk melakukan diskusi dengan Kepala Sekolah bersama jajarannya berdiskusi seputar Pendidikan Indonesia di Kuala Lumpur.

Tidak puas dengan eksplorasi pengetahuan, para delegasi mengunjungi pusat oleh-oleh dan berlabuh akhir di KLCC serta makan malam bersama di Twin Tower. Sebelum istirahat di guess house , delegasi berkumpul dan melakukan briefing terlebih dahulu.

Dihari kedua, delegasi langsung bergegas menuju sekolah PPWNI (Pusat Pendidikan Warga Negara Indonesia) di Klang. Adik-adik dengan antusias memeluk hangat mereka dan segera mengajak berkegiatan. Kegiatan rutin pagi hari dimulai dengan senam pagi, dilanjutkan hafalan surah dan lomba menggambar. Setelah perlombaan selesai, adik-adik mendengarkan cerita dongeng dari kakak-kakaknya (para delegasi). Dengan cerita mereka bermain bersama dan saling mengenal satu sama lain.

Tak ingin kehilangan momen bersama kakaknya, setelah sekolah usai adik-adik berbondong-bondong datang ke sekolah untuk minta diajari membuat gelang dari tali kur. Alhasil pelatihan kewirausahaan sore itu dihiasi semangat para ibu dan adik-adik disana.

Semangat pengajar muda semakin membara! Hari terakhir mengajar dimanfaatkan mereka untuk menanamkan semangat nasionalisme adik-adik disana. Dengan mengadakan lomba cerdas cermat nasionalisme, para Pengajar Muda dengan semangat mengajarkan pancasila dan semangat kebangsaan. Adik-adik dan para Ibu-ibu juga diajari tentang pemanfaatan botol bekas dengan menjadikannya vas bunga dan kotak pensil yang dibalut rapi dengan hiasan kain flanel. Tak terasa hari akhir sudah didepan mata! Mereka pun siap memberikan persembahan terakhir untuk adik-adik disana!

Kini saatnya adik-adik dan kakak-kakaknya berpisah. Agenda terakhir dihiasi dengan penampilan adik-adik dalam menghafalkan ayat-ayat pendek, bernyanyi bersama dan lomba memasak para ibu-ibu sekitar. Terima kasih kepada Pusat Pendidikan Warga Negara Indonesia Klang yang berkenan menerima para Pengajar Muda dalam kegiatan Indonesia Youth Teaching Program. Senyum tawa dan memori selama program tentu tidak akan pernah terlupa.
