Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Muslim Nuryogi telah bertolak ke Thailand untuk mengikuti Students Maker Summit, Thailand 2017 . Acara tahunan itu diselenggarakan di Kota Bangkok dengan berbagai tempat dan kegiatan.

Student Change Makers Summit dijadwalkan berlangsung selama 5 hari yaitu pada tanggal 10 – 14 Mei 2017. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh para delegasi dari seluruh Indonesia yang terpilih dari seleksi sebelumnya yang di selenggarakan oleh YOUCAN (Youth Center to Act for Nation)

Mahasiswa Teknik Elektro yang memiliki prestasi Muslim Nuryogi pernah menjadi Ketua Engineering Research Club 2016 dan Mahasiswa Berprestasi Fakultas Teknik 2016, dalam SCS Thailand ini dia akan mengikuti berbagai kegiatan diantaranya conference, workshop, volunteer yang hal ini adalah sebagai upaya melatih, membentuk dan  meningkatkan jiwa kepemimpinan yang cerdas dan berkarakter.

Student Change Makers Summit 2017 akan menjadi pertemuan para calon pemimpin sekaligus konferensi para peneliti dari berbagai bidang dari para delegasi yang saling bertukar ide dan pemikiran untuk membangun Indonesia lebih baik

Kegiatan konferensi dan pelatihan kepemimpinan juga ada kegiatan  tanam mangrove di daerah tersebut sebagai wujud pengabdian masyarakat.

Wakil Dekan bidang kemahasiswaan FT Unnes Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T. berharap  perwakilan mahasiswa FT Unnes dapat belajar banyak di Malaysia dan nantinya bisa memberikan paparan hasil mengikuti kegiatan agar mahasiswa Unnes yang lain dapat mengikutinya kedepan untuk meningkatkan jiwa kepemimpinan dan kepedulian.
