FMIPA UNNES Gelar ICMSE 2022 Bertema Penelitian Inovatif Post Covid-19 Pandemic

Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Semarang (FMIPA UNNES) menyelenggarakan International Conference on Mathematics, Sciences, and Education (ICMSE) yang mengusung tema Innovative Research on Mathematics, Sciences and Education in Post Covid-19 Pandemic Towards Society 5.0”.

ICMSE merupakan event konferensi tahunan yang pada tahun ini telah memasuki tahun ke sembilan. Konferensi ini akan digelar selama dua hari yaitu pada 5 s.d 6 Oktober 2022 yang pelaksanaannya dilakukan secara daring dikarenakan pandemi Covid-19 yang masih melanda. Hal ini mempertimbangkan keselamatan bersama baik penyelenggara maupun peserta konferensi.

Ketua ICMSE 2022, Arif Widiyatmoko PhD menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih kepada Co-host dan invited speakers dari berbagai negara. Beliau mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan ICMSE 2022 diikuti oleh peserta baik dari dalam negeri maupun dari luar negeri yang berasal dari beberapa negara.

Kegiatan ICMSE 2022 dibuka secara resmi oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Zaenuri MSi Akt yang mewakili Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum, Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Dalam sambutannya, Beliau menyampaikan apresiasi yang tinggi atas penyelenggaraan konferensi internasional yang mengusung tema “Innovative Research on Mathematics, Sciences and Education in Post Covid-19 Pandemic Towards Society 5.0”.

“Saya ingin mengucapkan selamat kepada semua kontributor yang makalahnya dipresentasikan dalam konferensi bergengsi ini. Diharapkan konferensi ini akan membawa ide-ide yang signifikan dan berharga untuk meningkatkan penelitian dan inovasi kami untuk sistem pendidikan di Indonesia dan dunia,” kata Prof Zaenuri.

ICMSE 2022 terdiri dari dua sesi yaitu sesi pleno dengan beberapa pembicara utama dan sesi presentasi makalah oleh dosen, praktisi, ataupun peneliti.

Pada konferensi ini menghadirkan enam pembicara baik dari dalam negeri maupun luar negeri yaitu Prof Dr Matthias Ludwig dari Goethe-Universitat Frankfurt Germany, Dr Muhammad Firdaus Bin Oman dari Universitas Teknologi Malaysia, Dr Nilesh Nirmal dari Mahidol University Thailand, Assoc Prof Teo Tang Wee dari Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Prof Jong Siu-yung Morris dari Chinese University of Hong Kong, dan Dr dr Nugrahaningsih WH MKes dari Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Pada sesi presentasi makalah oleh dosen, praktisi, ataupun peneliti dilakukan penyampaian mengenai hasil-hasil penelitian mereka yang nantinya makalah yang terpilih akan diterbitkan dalam AIP Conference Proceeding (Indexed by Scopus), JPII Scopus Indexed Journal (Scopus Q2, SINTA-1), dan Nationally Accredited Journal SINTA-2: Biosaintifika, Kreano, SJI, JPFI.
